I agree with this statement, we should not allow it since it is the media and other people that starts racism. If other people do not point out anything kids may not see race as making them different, we should not point it out to them.

Throwing away the past is throwing away everything that happened to them and hiding the racism doesn't stop it

Although learning children may not realize at first there could be an uprise if not teached in the beginning. WE do not want to repeat history and it is important to learn the mistakes from the past made from others. Racism is not acceptable and furthermore should be taught to kids k-12 the history and everything that happened in racism.

I understand where you're coming with this, and I agree but they should still get taught sooner or later when they start to grasp the concept of racism. I'd say around middle school, since that's when most people in my class started getting racist towards each other. None the less, pushing back history to "not repeat the racism" is bull **** . The peoples parents can still give an example to their kids if they hate on race.

It convinces students that they are oppressed or less than and makes them feel inferior or feel that they are being treated inferiorly to White students, and creates grown up citizens that are aggressive to police and continue the cycle. Meanwhile there is nothing a POC cannot do that a White person can
