If "patients" is supposed to say "patents," then I think it would have the exact opposite effect. Instead of attempting to discover and invent new things, many corporations would simply steal other people's designs. Fewer people would be expressing themselves by being creative, and more would stick to what works.

To be rich is to have monetary wealth that allows for one to live above the average standard. A rich person can easily afford optional and unnecessary luxuries, on top of having their necessities met. Meanwhile, to be poor is to have extremely little monetary wealth, living just below the average standard. A poor person can barely afford their basic necessities if at all.

Rich have money, and the poor don't. In a classless society, these concepts still would reside, for as long as someone has more money than someone, that person will still hold the leash.

I believe the driving motivator should be the simple pleasure of making our lives better, you work hard and learn the skills to look back and see how much you've improved, I think we've been blinded by the ideology that all you need to make life better is a decent job to give you decent money that we forget how simply accomplishing a difficult task to drive ourselves forward gives us such a deeply satisfying feeling of achievement that no amount of money can compare to.

No, because the State is vital to protecting its people from internal and external threats. If the State dissolves and anarchy occurs, people will just restructure themselves into tribes and restart the whole state building process again, with a whole lot of violence that accompanies that process. Stable states are the best society to live in.

In general, personal success would be gauged on how a person is able to give back to their community. This could be through a job, volunteering, art, or even something as simple as being an upstanding citizen and role model. This would be stressed, as putting focus on bettering the community will benefit all members of the community, whereas our current emphasis of bettering individuals only benefits the individual, often at the expense of others.

I would be an archeologist or work in the arts/humanities instead of aiming to be a lawyer. I aspire to be a lawyer mostly because our system requires you to make money before having basic needs instead of receiving aide for basic needs so you can make money to improve your life.

Elizabeth Warren Walks Back Murder Comments

Congressional Democrats broadly denounced the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson Friday morning, after Republicans started accusing Sen. Elizabeth Warren of excusing violence.“No one's condoning this,” said Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Ill.). “Violence never is the right answer for anything. And it was a horrible murder, a tragic loss for his family.” Warren this week condemned the shooting, but added that people “can be pushed only so far.”"We'll say it over and over," Warren said on MSNBC’S “The ReidOut.” " Violence is never the answer. This guy [Luigi Mangione] gets a trial who's allegedly killed the CEO of UnitedHealth, but you can only push people so far, and then they start to take matters into their own hands."In a statement to POLITICO, Warren said, “Violence is never the answer. Period.
