Why should the kids who had sex suffer because of a bad mistake? That’s like preemptively punishing someone before they do something bad. I am 100% Pro choice, and on this issue, there’s no compromise or debate for me.

You must really enjoy being a heartless and uncompassionate person to support the murder of innocent and defenseless unborn babies. Your lack of empathy is truly disgusting.

yes, ultimately the topic of abortion is not political, its a moral issue. it appalls me to hear that people use politics as a reason to go around the base issue. and the worst part, people tend to lash out when someone hears something they dont like, and if its something they cant attack, they go and complain that they were "mistreated" or "oppressed" to the simple fact that this is not about politics, this is about the morality of the person who makes the decision. and i think its unfair to blame everyone but themselves for their mistakes.

Preemptively punishing someone before they do something bad? Do you support red-flag laws? If yes, then you're a hypocrite. They are identical situations

So the baby is a consequence?

If pro-lifers ever want to make progress, they need to come up with a plan that doesn’t give the baby a terrible future.

The child having a difficult living condition is not an excuse to kill them. If someone isn't satisfied with their life and truly believes that they have nothing to live for, they should be able to make that choice for themselves.

Why does the circumstance of the pregnancy determine their personhood? Surely you aren't insinuating that personhood is contingent on the emotional acceptance of the mother.

What they're suggesting is that the mother shouldn't need to live with a child from sex that she never voluntarily had, not that the value of the child is dependent on the circumstances of sex.

In most situations women are re-victimized further when reporting a rape. Many women chose not to report. In some cultures, including United States Citizens, women risk losing all family, community support and religious support if they become pregnant out of wedlock or if they have been raped. Girls in middle school and high school are at the highest risk of being re-victimized, especially if their rapist is amongst their peers. Putting rape stipulations only causes more trauma to the victim. I 100% agree that rape victims should report, however I also know that this takes an extreme amount…  Read more

Sometimes people get caught up in the moment so don't call others stupid because maybe you had sex at a young age yourself

 @B6WD2DQ from Colorado  disagreed…10mos10MO
