You have to think about what the birthing person has to go through

They have to deal with an extreme amount of pain, spend a lot of money, spend a lot of time, their body changes, and more! It's not that easy. Also right now, adoption is not the best in America. A lot of people actually don't get adopted and some even commit suicide.
