Many vaccines, such as the polio vaccine, have completely gotten rid of preventable and highly infectious diseases that can result in severe disabilities for the rest of their lives. Polio is only a year-round disease in two countries as of 2023 because of the vaccine, which was created in the 1950s. Polio was a serious disease in which 80% of those who were infected received damage to their nervous systems, which decreased their muscular function, and caused muscular atrophy (the loss of muscle mass). That's not how vaccinations work; they work to build immunity in the body and are a great resource. It's important to know your body before getting a vaccination, just in case you might have a weak immune system and be more negatively affected. It's also important to ask questions of your doctor so you know how to help yourself, and if a certain vaccination may harm due to a preexisting medical condition you already have but might not be aware of.

The Vaccination requirements for COVID are unjust because proof and studies are proving that these COVID vaccinations, particularly in earlier variants, have, in some cases, proven to do more harm than good. Therefore, in this case, I would argue that some should be able to decide whether they wanna risk COVID or the side effects from the vaccination.

Vaccine risk vs. disease risk
Disease complications are far more severe: While vaccines can have side effects, serious health events are extremely rare. In contrast, vaccine-preventable diseases like measles, polio, and whooping cough can cause severe illness, long-term disability, and death. The risk of harm from a disease is significantly higher than the risk of harm from a vaccine.
Myocarditis from infection vs. vaccination: For example, myocarditis (heart muscle inflammation) is a rare side effect of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. However, myocarditis is far more common and severe when caused by the COVID-19 infection itself.
