The United States has been in NATO since its founding at the end of World War II and we have been its biggest contributor since then. The United States should remain in NATO, but several things have to change. The first thing that needs to happen is an all countries in NATO must increase their contributions, by increasing their military and or their military industrial complex to provide arms and equipment either for their own military or to help Is the United States in its role. Yes, leaving would ruin our relationship with Europe and would be immoral anyway, it would essentially mean letting Russia just invade whoever they want.

The NATO Call to arms should not be greater than the American Constitution and need for congress to declare wars.
