Foreigners and immigrants are the ones who hold up this country. They have worked hard to get to the position where they are and they are the ones mostly affected by decisions that they haven’t even taken. One example is trump deporting immigrants

 @B8KGXLC from Alabama  agreed…6mos6MO

imigrans should not be judged bc one they came to make money and the are trying to make america better

 @B9JXGP9Democrat  from Washington  disagreed…5mos5MO

Foreigners should only be allowed to vote if they went through the process of becoming a US citizen.

 @B9KB85Ragreed…4mos4MO

No they are not from the united states so they cant vote for a leftist democrat so they can try to stay here

 @B9KB275 from Arizona  agreed…4mos4MO

The act of becoming a citizen doesn't magically transform you into a new person. You still maintain your culture, heritage, beliefs, traditions, ect. Foreigners will more times then not vote to increase immigration even if the native population of a nation says otherwise. Everyone is tribal and, the blank slate doesn't exist.

 @B9K7Q6F from New York  agreed…4mos4MO

Yes. Non citizens do not have what's best for USA in mind. They are not as nationally concerned as citizens

 @BDCWFDL from Georgia  agreed…3wks3W

Not allowing people to vote simply because of their race, religion, or political stance is unconstitutional. America is built on the backs of immigrants, if you reap the benefits of their hard work, then every immigrant should have the right to vote.

 @BDHKBS7Democrat from Pennsylvania  agreed…3wks3W

I believe everyone should be able to vote if they live there no matter where they come from they should be able to have a say so in making the US a better place.

 @B9MF8WY from Georgia  agreed…4mos4MO

Undocumented immigrants paid nearly $97 billion in federal, state and local taxes in 2022, according to a July 2024 report, opens new tab by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP), which used data on taxpayers with ITINs to estimate tax revenue.

 @B8LRLRKDemocrat from California  agreed…6mos6MO

They live in the country and some may be waiting for a legal citizenship you don’t get it right away..

 @BDDFBJ5 from California  agreed…3wks3W

Many foreigners reside in the US. Many of this have been living in the US for many years, these people have done a lot for our country and should just be given a vote.

 @BD9DBJQ from Kansas  disagreed…4wks4W

Allowing foreigners to vote could allow for foreign entities to legally interfere in our elections, such as Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election

 @BBXJG54 from Tennessee  agreed…3mos3MO

foreigners are simply, just people born in an another place and have a different culture and/or ethnicity

 @BDKC4S6 from Minnesota  agreed…2wks2W

They are people too, simple as that, people have the right to vote if they live in the United States.

 @BDGNKNN from New York  agreed…3wks3W

Just go to any low income apartments, there's completely adjusted individuals who circumstantially live there, they should be able to vote regardless of their background because they are contributing to our society and economy.

 @BD4NXKY  from Michigan  disagreed…1mo1MO

My best counter argument on the yes vote
For the right of foreigners to vote is that since they’re not legally apart of our country, they shouldn’t be part be part of the decision how we change and work.

 @BCSSCW7Socialist  from Kansas  disagreed…2mos2MO

Taxation without representation. People who are undocumented pay into a system and do not receive representation because they are unable to vote. Giving those who are undocumented the right to vote means that they would no longer be taxed without proper representation.

 @BB8VPPV from California  agreed…3mos3MO

Being American doesn’t mean having a certificate that says “Yes, I’m American”. Being American means if you believe in liberty, due process, and democracy— you’re American at heart. And that’s what matters.

 @B8ZFKSLDemocrat from Kentucky  disagreed…6mos6MO

Foreigners that are not US citizens might vote with their home country's interests as opposed to the interests of US citizens

 @B9TZFMV from North Carolina  disagreed…4mos4MO

Religiously, I do support unalienable rights, access to medicine and education, and and access to food and shelter, however, I do not think non-citizens should vote as they may not be as informed as citizens on domestic issues that many citizens have dealt with for decades.
