The are not Americans. When you become an American citizen you can exercise your right to vote all you want.

 @BD4X93Z from South Carolina  agreed…1mo1MO

I agree, since they are not American citizens, they should not be allowed to rights of an American citizen. once you become an American citizen with the proper forms, you can use the rights that an American has.

 @BD8Q6PB from Illinois  commented…4wks4W

They are living here and still have to follow the same rules we do, under the same government.

 @BD4XPH7Republican from Kansas  agreed…1mo1MO

 @BD4YRDWRepublican from Delaware  agreed…1mo1MO

No foreigners shouldn’t be able to vote because the aren’t US citizens and they dont know politics in america

 @BD8PG22 from North Carolina  commented…4wks4W

That if you're not an US Citizen and don't have your Citizenship you should not be able to vote because that's not fair and it's very illegal.

 @B8K65K3  from Washington  agreed…6mos6MO

Foreigners and immigrants are the ones who hold up this country. They have worked hard to get to the position where they are and they are the ones mostly affected by decisions that they haven’t even taken. One example is trump deporting immigrants

 @B8KGXLC from Alabama  agreed…6mos6MO

imigrans should not be judged bc one they came to make money and the are trying to make america better

 @B9JXGP9Democrat  from Washington  disagreed…5mos5MO

Foreigners should only be allowed to vote if they went through the process of becoming a US citizen.

 @B9KB85Ragreed…5mos5MO

No they are not from the united states so they cant vote for a leftist democrat so they can try to stay here

 @B9KB275 from Arizona  agreed…5mos5MO

The act of becoming a citizen doesn't magically transform you into a new person. You still maintain your culture, heritage, beliefs, traditions, ect. Foreigners will more times then not vote to increase immigration even if the native population of a nation says otherwise. Everyone is tribal and, the blank slate doesn't exist.

 @B9K7Q6F from New York  agreed…5mos5MO

Yes. Non citizens do not have what's best for USA in mind. They are not as nationally concerned as citizens

 @BDBWKPH from Washington  disagreed…4wks4W

Foreigners should not have the right to vote in the USA because they are not a citizen there, however they should, as the same for everyone else, be granted that right the moment they become a citizen through legal means.

 @BDCWFDL from Georgia  agreed…3wks3W

Not allowing people to vote simply because of their race, religion, or political stance is unconstitutional. America is built on the backs of immigrants, if you reap the benefits of their hard work, then every immigrant should have the right to vote.

 @B979SDBDemocrat from Washington  disagreed…5mos5MO

Non-citizens being able to vote decreases election security and makes it easier for foreign entities to manipulate democratic processes.

 @BB3KJT4 from New York  agreed…4mos4MO

people feel like if its like this it will benefit one party but it cannot benefit both if one stands on their word and do what they have to do for the country

 @B8QS273 from California  disagreed…6mos6MO

I don't think foreigners have that right or title to vote in a country; they are foreign to the country so what right do they have to

 @B9MF8WY from Georgia  agreed…4mos4MO

Undocumented immigrants paid nearly $97 billion in federal, state and local taxes in 2022, according to a July 2024 report, opens new tab by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP), which used data on taxpayers with ITINs to estimate tax revenue.

 @B8FCGDW from Arizona  disagreed…7mos7MO

Foreigners without citizenship should not be allowed to vote because it could cause a mass migration into the US just to sway an election, without getting a proper idea of actual American ideals.

 @B8LRLRKDemocrat from California  agreed…6mos6MO

They live in the country and some may be waiting for a legal citizenship you don’t get it right away..

 @BDBQBZ8 from Oregon  disagreed…4wks4W

us citizens naturalized or born should be the only ones eligible to vote in the United States, they might live here, but they are not us citizens.

 @BDHN965 from California  agreed…3wks3W

The foreigners help build the government, so we should get a say in what we choose and what we want to happen.

 @BDCWD3N from Georgia  disagreed…3wks3W

If you don't live in a country you are not entitled to be involved in their politics. Gain US citizenship before you involve yourself.

 @BBXJG54 from Tennessee  agreed…3mos3MO

foreigners are simply, just people born in an another place and have a different culture and/or ethnicity

 @BDKYNJD from South Carolina  agreed…2wks2W

When someone is required to pay taxes to the federal government they should be able to vote regardless of their citizenship.

 @BDKC4S6 from Minnesota  agreed…2wks2W

They are people too, simple as that, people have the right to vote if they live in the United States.

 @BDJ5JJD from Utah  agreed…3wks3W

More than 140 countries allow non-citizens to vote in some form, usually in local elections.
Non-citizens often work, pay taxes, and live for years in a country, so they are affected by its laws. In some cases, allowing voting rights is linked to higher civic participation and better integration into society.

 @BCQGTKJ from California  agreed…2mos2MO

To my knowledge I feel that citizens that did not come to the US legally are mostly families and nonviolent people just trying to escape something bad.

 @B8NCN96 from Missouri  agreed…6mos6MO

Whether they are a legal citizen or not whoever is living in our country should be able to have a say on who leads it, most come to this country in search of a better life.

 @B8LJM7P from New York  disagreed…6mos6MO

I think an argument could be that, if they have dual citizenship to another power, their loyalty may not be committed to this country fully

 @BDGNKNN from New York  agreed…3wks3W

Just go to any low income apartments, there's completely adjusted individuals who circumstantially live there, they should be able to vote regardless of their background because they are contributing to our society and economy.

 @BCSSCW7Socialist  from Kansas  disagreed…2mos2MO

Taxation without representation. People who are undocumented pay into a system and do not receive representation because they are unable to vote. Giving those who are undocumented the right to vote means that they would no longer be taxed without proper representation.

 @BB8VPPV from California  agreed…3mos3MO

Being American doesn’t mean having a certificate that says “Yes, I’m American”. Being American means if you believe in liberty, due process, and democracy— you’re American at heart. And that’s what matters.

 @BDBQ3V4 from Louisiana  disagreed…4wks4W

No, because Foreigners cannot be legal right now. We should make it easier for foreigners to be integrated, but it can be used by other country's to sway elections.

 @B9TZFMV from North Carolina  disagreed…4mos4MO

Religiously, I do support unalienable rights, access to medicine and education, and and access to food and shelter, however, I do not think non-citizens should vote as they may not be as informed as citizens on domestic issues that many citizens have dealt with for decades.
