They have not earned it. They are not citizens and they are not subject to US jurisdiction. They are foreigners with no status in the US.

 @B96ZN3Z from Florida  commented…5mos5MO

Illegal immigrants are still criminals. They have crossed the border from their country of residence into a country they are not allowed to preside in. My grandparents and parents alike fought to get citizenship, and they did it legally. Why. Why are illegals obtaining numerous economical benefits that even our hard-working citizens fail to obtain. What Trump is doing, is heavily correct. It is my belief that an illegal immigrant should not have due process rights in our country, and after being deported to their country of residence, they can go through their country’s due process of…  Read more

 @B88PRJ4Republican from Ohio  disagreed…7mos7MO

They aren’t american citizens they come here illegally and then try to vote and change our govt when they aren’t even here legally

 @B95Z936 from Connecticut  disagreed…5mos5MO

It makes no sense to have people that aren't citizens voting them might not have our countrys interest first.

 @B8QMTW9 from Utah  disagreed…6mos6MO

Foreigners are not citizens, so they do not deserve to have a say on our country's voting administration. There are legal ways to immigrate, it's America first, illegal immigrants do NOT get to make changes when they aren't even citizens.

 @B88NRTZRepublican from Washington  disagreed…7mos7MO

Why do people who don't live here get to dictate what I get to do in my own country? I don't get to decide what happens in China, Russia, France, etc. Makes 0 sense.

 @BCYP4HB from Minnesota  disagreed…1mo1MO

I don't want a foreigner voting in this country just as I don't think I have the right to vote in a country that I would be a foreigner in.

 @B8DVDS4 from New Mexico  disagreed…7mos7MO

Because they’re not US citizens, so why should they be able to vote? In a country that’s not there’s

 @BDHGTL7 from Illinois  disagreed…3wks3W

We are a nation where its citizens elect the people in charge. Foreigners who do not have their citizenship should not vote. Foreigners who do have their citizenship should be allowed to vote.

 @BD8B3XG from Arizona  disagreed…4wks4W

Citizenship status is essential to sovereignty. Non citizens do not have a right to vote in our elections.

 @BB4ZT2D from South Carolina  disagreed…4mos4MO

Why should they be able to make a choice for a country that they are not a citizen of. If they want to vote they should become an American.

 @BB4FKF2 from Idaho  disagreed…4mos4MO

If you are legal you can vote if you are illegal you don’t belong to this country and therefore could create an infiltration of ideas (Marxism etc). We should crack down on our voting system to ensure that all citizens are protected.

 @B94KJXT from Florida  disagreed…5mos5MO

There is no right to vote for non-citizens. It's the very contingency for voting, is for YOUR country.

 @B92Z8ST from Georgia  disagreed…5mos5MO

A countries leadership should be decided by permanent residents, not visitors or illegal immigrants.

 @B8TQ2FX from Utah  disagreed…6mos6MO

They may not be America first. They are possibly criminals and voting for their own benefits, damaging the country and putting many in danger.

 @B8K36VT from Michigan  disagreed…6mos6MO

If you’re not a citizen paying taxes to the government, you do not get a say on who is in our government.

 @BDK9SM9 from Illinois  disagreed…2wks2W

They aren't born in america and they will leave when they make money so why should they chose who rules us when they are just going to leave

 @B9LSGV4 from Kansas  disagreed…4mos4MO

They are not out citizens, they do not offer anything to us, they do not have loyalty and our best interests in mind.

 @B9DVPZ7 from Oregon  disagreed…5mos5MO

Non-Citizens should not be allowed to vote anywhere they are not a citizen. Voters MUST have a stake in the system

 @B8LQRT3 from Alabama  disagreed…6mos6MO

A government is created by a social contract of its citizens. Foreigners only join this social contract during the naturalization process. If a voter is undocumented, they are not a part of the civic body.

 @B8K2GDY from California  disagreed…6mos6MO

I believe that foreigners can vote, as long as they have been naturalized. If any foreigner is allowed to vote, I think that a party can import mass foreigners with green cards and use them as leverage to win an election.

 @BD9LHYD from Indiana  disagreed…4wks4W

It makes no sense for citizens of a foreign country to influence the U.S. election. Similar to how our government is being ran by people loyal to another nation.

 @BD9QDV7 from Texas  commented…4wks4W

 @B9V4YCS from Florida  disagreed…4mos4MO

Foreign people voting in an election seems to endanger the sovereignty of the election process. If anyone can vote there is no way to ensure the votes are legitimate and actual one vote per heartbeat.

 @B9FLMLV from North Carolina  disagreed…5mos5MO

Only citizens have the right to vote. Aliens need to go through the process of becoming a citizen to vote otherwise their is no such thing as a citizen.

 @B8N6FGX from North Carolina  disagreed…6mos6MO

Natural born US citizens should not be on equal footing as foreigners when it comes to voting for political offices.

 @B8L74SB from Utah  disagreed…6mos6MO

They are not of this country, not citizens, and therefore to not qualify to submit an action within our republic.

 @B8F93SG from Wyoming  disagreed…7mos7MO

It's against the values of the founders of our country. In addition, why should those who are not invested in our country have any say in our elections?

 @B9YC6YH from California  disagreed…4mos4MO

Foreigners usually vote in support of their countries ideals or for a candidate that will protect them over americans

 @B9XDBTX from Georgia  disagreed…4mos4MO

Why should they have the right to vote when you don’t care enough to become a citizen. Then you shouldn’t care who is in office.

 @B8YLG3G from New York  disagreed…6mos6MO

I can’t walk into another country and be allowed to vote in their system. If I apply and am granted citizenship in that country then absolutely I would expect my opinion to be registered.

 @B8J7BMS from North Carolina  disagreed…7mos7MO

Foreigners shouldn't be allowed to vote because they are not legal permanent residents of this country and can leave and go back to their home country whenever they please. The decisions and laws of this country will not have the same affect on them as it will on citizens of this country.

 @9FC3ZF4 from California  disagreed…3yrs3Y

i just dont understand why we let people vote who most likely arent understanding how to vote... and if we allow foreigners to vote what says that political parties wont pay foreigners to come into the United states to vote

 @BDHXBN5Republican from New Jersey  disagreed…3wks3W

depends. if they are legal, sure. if they are illegal and have no documentation then absolutely not.

 @BCJ4S7SRepublican from California  disagreed…2mos2MO

If they are legal, play taxes, and overall a functioning member of society then yes they should vote.

 @BB44K98Republican from Arizona  disagreed…4mos4MO

If they are a citizen of this country they can vote. If you aren’t a citizen you shouldn’t have a say in federal elections that effect citizens

 @B9NPSRZ from Mississippi  disagreed…4mos4MO

Why in the world would we as a nation WANT to have people who do not belong here to have any say in the way we operate?

 @B9MSJ3Q from Wisconsin  disagreed…4mos4MO

If foreigners vote in a country other than their own, it questions who is actually running the country - the citizens or another foreign power who has infiltrated.

 @B9M42V5 from Minnesota  disagreed…4mos4MO

If someone has not taken the steps to become a legal citizen of the U.S. which shows their dedication and ambition to be apart of our country, why should they be allowed in a say of what happens? It is like coaching a team of a sport you know nothing about.

 @B92WVHZ from Florida  disagreed…5mos5MO

They aren’t blood Americans. They shouldn’t get to vote. If I went to Paris for awhile, I shouldn’t be able to influence their role.

 @BCPMVSB from Iowa  disagreed…2mos2MO

They are not legal citizens, given that they should not have the rights that American citizen do, such as voting, ownership of firearms, government assistance and other nurturing.

 @B9N94JW from Illinois  disagreed…4mos4MO

Only US citizens are allowed to vote, why would we have foreigners voting for a U.S. politician (which is more likely to be corrupt or corrupt if foreigners vote for them) if they are going to make a decision that affects mainly U.S. citizens? Also this is against the law.

 @B92NSXW from Illinois  disagreed…5mos5MO

Foreigners should have no say in anything regarding the politics of their host nation. It incentivizes politicians to cater to what group of people will win them an election, instead of focusing on the wants and needs of their constituents. Foreigners and illegal immigrants are also nothing but a tax burden on the citizens of the nation the foreigners reside in.

 @B86RZCW from Florida  disagreed…7mos7MO

if someone is not an citizen of this country then why should they be able to vote for an president that's not for their coutnry

 @BDH2J6V from Florida  disagreed…3wks3W

A states laws are a part of its spirit built from its people. Those people are individuals who have spent their whole lives and generations of their families lives living within the state. Those uninitiated in the spirit of the state would have no real insight into the culture and ideals of its people. If they do not truly know the culture and ideals of the state in which they immigrated to what gives them the right to enforce their will through laws they desire? Until a foreigner can truly understand what it means to be part of the people they’ve immigrated to be with they won’t understand the laws that have been (or should be) in place and should therefore not be allowed to alter the status of the law until such a time as they are full citizens.

 @BCSRR6H from South Carolina  disagreed…2mos2MO

Foreigners don't understand what went into building this country and how we developed our system so until you become a citizen you should not have the right to vote.

 @BCBGMW9 from Utah  disagreed…2mos2MO

Elections determine who is a member of the political community, not just who lives there, so voting should only be available to citizens. Laws can affect foreigners, but citizenship entails full political membership and formal allegiance, which noncitizens do not have. Therefore, the strongest argument against granting noncitizens the right to vote is that they shouldn't be able to influence a country's government just because they live there.

 @BB6LYMX from Texas  disagreed…3mos3MO

Why would someone who is not from this country be able to vote on something that directly affects the people in the country.

 @B9XW2ZR from Ohio  disagreed…4mos4MO

This allows for nefarious actors to engage in our political forum with malicious intent/outcomes, with no accountability or domestic investment.

 @B9X5SPK from Texas  disagreed…4mos4MO

Only citizens have a stake in the the security and welfare of their nation. Foreigners always have the option to return to their home countries. Most citizens do not have the option to live elsewhere.

 @B9V5JS6 from California  disagreed…4mos4MO

If a foreigner can vote in the US and not be a citizen then americans can vote in other countries such as france and the UK since we are their version of foreigners

 @B9CKD3K from California  disagreed…5mos5MO

Foreigners do not have American interests at heart, they will be voting based on what country they came from believes in.

 @B985VTQ from California  disagreed…5mos5MO

They are not citizens therefore do not have the US best interest but foreign interests and investors

 @B94VRSJ from Oregon  disagreed…5mos5MO

this is the most stupid question, you want the whole world to vote in our elections that is assinine

 @B94SYN7 from Ohio  disagreed…5mos5MO

They are not American. They usually don’t have Americas best interests at heart. Most of them don’t share the same culture or ideas as Americans, therefore they shouldn’t have a say when it comes to our government.

 @B94MG9M from Virginia  disagreed…5mos5MO

It is not fare for all law abiding USA citizens. Only USA citizens should vote, and it doesn't matter if someone is originally foreign if he or she becomes a US citizen.

 @B925NCN from North Carolina  disagreed…5mos5MO

A lot of foreigners won't be here after their VISA expires. If they vote, they won't even notice the change.

 @B8TPSF7 from New Jersey  disagreed…6mos6MO

They aren't US citizens and therefore shouldn't have say in US politics. It'd be as if your parent let a friend decide the rules you had to follow.

 @B8TFMC3 from Utah  disagreed…6mos6MO

If there is no follow through with the process laid out on how to get to citizenship, why follow the process at all?

 @B8QJPG8 from Arkansas  disagreed…6mos6MO

If someone was in the country illegally, there is a high chance that they got kicked out fo their country for breaking laws, so why should they get a vote on future policy's and presidents.

 @B8MCFWB from Florida  disagreed…6mos6MO

If you are not a citizen of a country, you have no right to have a say in a country- citizens are fully integrated foreigners which is why they can vote(or people born here and thus fully integrated)

 @B8HY4M5  from California  disagreed…7mos7MO

Foreigners should not meddle in our affairs. America is for Americans. Your neighbor doesn’t get to decide the movie you and your family watches.

 @BCQGDH3 from California  disagreed…2mos2MO

If someone is in America and is not a US citizen, there is no reason for them to vote in the election

 @BB349KY  from Minnesota  disagreed…4mos4MO

Would you expect to illegally enter a country in South America, Africa, Asia, or the Muslim Middle East and tell their citizens and government that you as an illegal or legal foreigner should be able to dictate how they run their country?

 @BDRYSZS from Pennsylvania  disagreed…4 days4D

They are citizens. They have no right to vote in our elections. If they do then other countries can influence our elections
