I believe that illegal citizens should be allowed to vote because sometimes people come in the right way but may take years to finally be approved to be a citizen and there are also more ways which also take time.

 @B9H3PGN from Massachusetts  disagreed…5mos5MO

You are a foreigner UNTIL you are vetted AND become a US citizen. Up to that time you are not a US citizen and cannot share in the benefits that the US can/will provide. In no other country can you vote as a foreigner. If you FIX how the US approves citizens and in a timely manner then this issue goes away but until that happens you are a foreigner with no rights.

 @B9H3DHJ from Nevada  disagreed…5mos5MO

If they are an illegal citizen, then they should not vote because then the election is swayed by non-U.S. citizens. If it takes years to finally be approved then find another way like a work visa and have the paperwork to show you can legally be here.

 @B9J3QV9 from Ohio  disagreed…5mos5MO

Illegals are inherently not citizens, they did not come here the right way. They should wait outside the country until accepted, if they are even accepted, which they have no right to be. If they live here they shouldn’t be voting, they should be deported.

 @9RCVDHTRepublican  from New York  disagreed…5mos5MO

There is a system for a reason. By allowing illegal citizens to vote there is no regulation on the authenticity of the voter and if they believe in the core values of our country. Additionally, it directly dilutes the value of legal citizen's votes.

Voting is an exclusive right and a civic responsibility tied directly to the legal status of citizenship.

In dozens of countries, including many in the EU, long term non citizen residents are allowed to vote in local elections, and studies show this increases civic participation without causing more voter fraud.

 @BDNBV3WPeace and Freedom from California  agreed…2wks2W

It doesn’t just cast more votes but it helps others realize that no matter where you go, there will be different people everywhere, and that you should accept it anyways

They are not part of the American resident/citizen, they might have limited knowledge regarding the US political system/situation, thus their opinions are easier to be persuaded and affected by the social media or other external factors.

 @BD76PJNPeace and Freedom from Colorado  disagreed…4wks4W

Illegals aren’t welcome here. Foreigners have ulterior motives when dealing in politics with foreign to them- countries. They will take over the country 100%. One thing leads to another; pretty soon- a president will be elected that is a foreigner. Every freedom they are given is going to give them control of our country.

 @B9R74R9Peace and Freedom from Texas  disagreed…4mos4MO

I think that they should live here for a certain amount of time, and once they are able to they should be able to vote.

 @B8VFPQXPeace and Freedom from South Dakota  disagreed…6mos6MO

People who immigrate and become legal U.S. Citizens can vote. Allowing any foreigner is a possible risk in skewing the voting results.

 @B8HQPH5Peace and Freedom from Oklahoma  disagreed…7mos7MO

foreigners where not born in the United States therefore they have no right to vote as unless they are a United States citizen

 @BC39VRPPeace and Freedom  from Michigan  disagreed…3mos3MO

I personally think everyone have a right to vote and should vote for who they think can hold everything down but I think everyone has a right to do what ever they want .

 @BDSXFXNPeace and Freedom  from Oregon  agreed…2 days2D

with everything, Foreigners deserve the right to vote. They have a voice, and people need to understand that. And many of them come HERE for safety or a new chance at freedom! And we should live up to that title.
