While they are illegal, if they are paying money to the government, they should be able to vote for who controls the government.

This could easily turn into people from out of country rigging the elections MORE, than they already are. For example Russians voting for a socialist candidate.

 @B9W28FP from Oklahoma  disagreed…4mos4MO

There is no reason for someone that is not a U.S. citizen to vote. They should not be here in the first place, and they should not get a say in which elected officials will run things. Proper American citizens that pay taxes, buy homes, and are law abiding should be the only people allowed to vote in elections.

If they are ILLEGAL they do not deserve the right to vote in a country’s election that isn’t theirs.

 @B8C4SMZ from Oklahoma  disagreed…7mos7MO

The right of foreigners to vote is something that no nation in the world has ever afforded immigrants, and that is because citizens have a vested interest in the continuation of their country. However should a foreigner become a citizen then they now are invested enough to vote on the fate of the nation.

only citizens should be able to vote because it is directly affection them. most foreigners aren't as affected by some laws

 @B8JPJZQ from Oklahoma  disagreed…6mos6MO

They aren't from here they are gonna do whatever they can to stay here and don't really care about what happens they are not from here and should be taken away.

Non-citizen residents, including green card holders and documented immigrants, pay billions in taxes. In 2021, non-citizens contributed about $491 billion to the U.S. GDP and spent over $30 billion in state and local taxes annually, according to the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy.

I believe if thye have been here for a while than that okay but new Foreigners should not be able to.

In recent history the Democratic party are those who support illegal immigration. Allowing Undocumented immigrants to vote will sway polls in an unfair way. Legal immigrants should be able to vote because they are citizens of the USA, Illegal immigrants should not have access to things like voting because they are not citizens and did not come to the United States the way it’s created to be done.

What are the prevention methods to stop those who do not live here, who aren't paying the taxes, from just coming and voting in an election that they might end up leaving the country the next month? However, if a person is here on a more permanent residency, then special circumstances can be made.

 @B9RFXRC from Oklahoma  disagreed…4mos4MO

If you are not a United States citizen you should not have the right to vote. Our rights are only guaranteed for United States citizens.

 @B8HQPH5Peace and Freedom from Oklahoma  disagreed…7mos7MO

foreigners where not born in the United States therefore they have no right to vote as unless they are a United States citizen

 @BBDGWBB  from Oklahoma  agreed…3mos3MO

Plenty of people have to pay taxes, but majority of them are people who might not have citizenship. They are the ones doing things most "legal" people don't want to do, they should have a say in who comes into office.

 @BDT3MJT from Oklahoma  disagreed…2 days2D

I don't think that they should be allowed to vote. They are not from our country, and I do not think that they should be able to make decisions that are for the good of our country when they aren't even from the country.
