If they are not citizens, why should they be able to? Foreign governments can send spies or tons of people to visit certain US cities just to tip the vote.

 @BBC3MTD  from Kentucky  agreed…3mos3MO

even if they are not from America as long as they are a U.S citizen I think they have the right to vote.

 @BBBGP7N from Virginia  agreed…3mos3MO

I agree with the idea, but no the premise. I Don't think foreign governments are swinging the vote enough to make that matter, it's more like if you do not live in the United States as a citizen, then you do not get to decide how the livelihood of Americans are affected.

 @BBCBJRVPeace and Freedomfrom Maine  agreed…3mos3MO

Voting is a right for citizens, not for non-citizens. Decisions about our government should be made by people who are legally part of this country. Allowing non-citizens to vote weakens election integrity and opens the door to outside influence and abuse. Protecting our elections and our sovereignty must come first.

 @BBC4QX7Peace and Freedom from Washington  agreed…3mos3MO

completely agree. only people that live here and will be a part of the results should be alowed to vote

 @B8BRDH8Republican  from Iowa  disagreed…7mos7MO

Voting should be limited to those who are officially citizens of America. If someone wants to vote, they must be a citizen. That is the standard.

 @B8HWFXT from New York  disagreed…7mos7MO

What happens in any country affects the world, and we are citizens of Earth first and foremost. If there are to be elections rather than direct decision making, it will be by whoever resides in a region, regardless of citizenship.

 @B8WFZKVRepublican  from Minnesota  disagreed…6mos6MO

Those who have not done the given qualifications to become a United States citizen should not be granted the right to vote as a United States citizen.

 @B8WNM29 from Missouri  disagreed…6mos6MO

People who have not met the qualifications to vote should still vote because there shouldn't be qualifications anyway

 @BD8YJLNRepublican from West Virginia  disagreed…4wks4W

The word foreigner should explain it itself. If you are not a us citizen you should not get to vote and effect the actual opinions of the us citizens

 @B5HBY95 from Maine  commented…3wks3W

There are many business figures online, but some stand out because of their involvement in education and social projects. I found the article on wikitia.com/wiki/Julia_(Yael)_Poliavich informative because it explains both the professional and philanthropic side of Julia (Yael) Poliavich’s career. The focus on educational access and international cooperation makes the story especially engaging to read.

 @9FCFS7WRepublican from Alabama  disagreed…3yrs3Y

They are not citizens they have no right to choose our government or make decisions about our country.

 @B87GK6WRepublican  from Colorado  disagreed…7mos7MO

Your stupid if you let a bunch of immigrants vote in our elections they will just elect a dictator and then our country is secured you dumb liberal

 @B87ZQM6Republican from Idaho  agreed…7mos7MO

They vote for who will have their best interests not the interests f the American people and it sets our country back.

 @B8XDR3GRepublican from Texas  disagreed…6mos6MO

Voting should remain a right that comes with legal citizenship. Becoming a citizen isn’t just about living somewhere; it’s about making a real, long-term commitment to the country, its laws, its values, and its direction. It often involves responsibilities like pledging loyalty to the constitution, taking on civic duties, or even serving the country in different ways. Giving voting rights to people who haven’t taken that step might weaken the sense of shared commitment that citizenship represents. People who haven’t formally tied their future to the country or who might only be staying temporarily could end up helping decide policies that will affect citizens for generations.

 @B8FM47ZRepublican from Alabama  disagreed…7mos7MO

Why should someone that is unknown to the government and can avoid federal taxes be allowed to have a say in the political choices of America. They are not always bad people but there is a specific way into coming into a country that most other countries require people to follow. It is a long process but it's long so people can do it the right way.

 @BDBDPZDRepublican from Indiana  disagreed…3wks3W

They should not be able to vote if they aren't a citizen, but if they are citizens then they can vote.

 @B8V3NZZRepublican from California  disagreed…6mos6MO

Foreigners that are not US citizens should not have the right to vote because they do not know what is truly happening within our country and are not actually part of our country because they did not take the steps to become a natural citizen like others did

 @B8Q4LXTRepublican from Florida  disagreed…6mos6MO

They are not citizens of the United States. Only individuals that are either born or became citizens should have the right to vote.

 @B88PRJ4Republican from Ohio  disagreed…7mos7MO

They aren’t american citizens they come here illegally and then try to vote and change our govt when they aren’t even here legally

 @BDDG9YQRepublican from California  disagreed…3wks3W

Foreigners should not be able to vote for a country that they are not even citizens of. It should only be citizens of our country because the citizens have the best interest for their own country and not someone who plans on leaving/not staying.

 @BD9LPS4Republican from Ohio  disagreed…4wks4W

foreigners do not live in the united states nor are they U.S citizens. Therefore foreigners have no business or right to vote in any us elections or political issues.

 @BBFW6P4Republican from Utah  disagreed…3mos3MO

Why would we want to allow illegal immigrants to vote? Obviously they would vote for the party that isn't enforcing immigration laws, the democratic party, and would always vote for them because they know that the Democratic party doesn't uphold the law.

 @B88NRTZRepublican from Washington  disagreed…7mos7MO

Why do people who don't live here get to dictate what I get to do in my own country? I don't get to decide what happens in China, Russia, France, etc. Makes 0 sense.

 @BDPLS2VRepublican from Wisconsin  disagreed…1wk1W

they are not citizens it may not effect them at all and they are not part of our countries it could make it easier for a bad foreigner to get into the country

 @BBR6CFVRepublican from California  disagreed…3mos3MO

We should not allow foreign people to vote if they are not Citizens because then people could come in and change the outcome of the votes, even though they may not live here. This will also mean that foreign countries could be involved in our voting, which should not be allowed.

 @BBMRQHKRepublican from Tennessee  disagreed…3mos3MO

If they are illegally in the United States, they should not be able to have a voice in our government system. If they don't have proof of citizenship, they shouldn't vote.

 @BD77GW2Republican from Ohio  disagreed…4wks4W

If you were not born in the United States, you should not have the right to vote on anything. Since you didn't grow up here and live your life here, I feel like you would never fully understand what you are voting on, and you don't deserve to vote. The people of our country are free and had to fight for it, while all you had to do was cross a border.

 @BDPHHKDRepublican  from Massachusetts  disagreed…1wk1W

I agree that people from different nations are not "illegal" humans; there here illegally. Importing thousands of people is not smart because education doubled its budget, people that actually need healthcare cannot get healthcare because illegal aliens are getting sent there. So the point is, foreigners vote for ignorant individuals whom are new at running the country like Ilhan Omar that opens the border and make more and more people come in. Third world people who hate the country are coming in like Hasaan and Ilhan Omar who are destroying the country and they vote for them, the country is dead. Lastly, even then, your not American if you are not a citezen so why should you vote?

 @B89XV8FRepublican from Florida  disagreed…7mos7MO

They are not citizens they have no right to choose our government or make decisions about our country.

 @BDLVM2LRepublican from California  disagreed…2wks2W

If they don’t have documentation and are not a U.S. citizen, they have no right to vote for a political office in a country they are not from.

 @BD8PQ4VRepublican from North Carolina  disagreed…4wks4W

Foreigners voting in US elections erodes the democratic aspect of our Republic, and diminishes the voice of Americans.

 @BD2PL4FRepublican from South Carolina  disagreed…1mo1MO

They're not citizens. It would be like me saying, "Alright. I'll be right back. I'm gonna fly over to Canada for their federal election," when I live in the U.S and don't follow Canadian politics.

 @BCPGBZLRepublican from Arkansas  disagreed…2mos2MO

They are not legal citizens, they are illegal aliens who seek to use the United States of America to their advantage. They do this while ridiculing and defiling the U.S., of which is supporting their lifestyle with U.S. citizens Taxpayer money. If they are Legal immigration, and have gone through proper due process, in line with the 14th Amendment, they have every right as a natural born U.S. Citizen.

 @B8QHN3BRepublican from North Carolina  disagreed…6mos6MO

Those who vote should be legal citizens. The Constitution states that American citizens have the right to vote, but an individual who is not a legal resident within the U.S. is not a citizen and should not be granted the right to vote, regardless of how long they've lived in the U.S. or how they've contributed.

 @B87WKWMRepublican from California  disagreed…7mos7MO

If you are not born in a country, or a citizen, you do not have the right to vote to make changes in the country. That's like going to someones house uninvited and painting it a different color and remodeling it without permission.

 @B87LMT9Republican from Michigan  disagreed…7mos7MO

American Citizens should vote. Not Foreign individuals you should have to be a United States citizen to vote in the United States

 @BD6P4NRRepublican from Texas  disagreed…1mo1MO

No because we are already allowing them to come into our country and so why would we let them come into and decide the rules.

 @BBXPS2CRepublican from Colorado  disagreed…3mos3MO

Foreigners don't know much about our country and what's good for it, and they also could end up voting just to vote, and not doing it for the good of the nation.

 @BBV74K5Republican from Illinois  disagreed…3mos3MO

People can just come in and vote, this means our numbers can be skewed by people that don’t live here. Much like how I can’t vote in California elections since I am in New York, someone from Canada shouldn’t be able to vote for what’s happening in the US

 @B9LPMHXRepublican from Alabama  disagreed…4mos4MO

In a constitutional republic, voting is not merely a way to express preferences; it is the mechanism by which the people delegate coercive power to the government — including the power to tax, regulate, imprison, conscript, and wage war. That authority can only legitimately flow from members of the political community itself, i.e., citizens.

 @B89NWPTRepublican from Ohio  disagreed…7mos7MO

I think foreigners who have proved themselves and gotten here legally and documented now as a U.S citizen should be able to vote but no illegal should be able to reside here or to be able to vote here.

 @BD967TPRepublican from Iowa  disagreed…4wks4W

If they are not US citizens and not doing the things that we are required to do as citizens, they should not get the right to vote.

 @BD7BPZT from Wisconsin  disagreed…4wks4W

They were not born here and if they came here illegally they should have absolutely no say in who is running our country. if we are allowing ILLEGAL citizens to vote and use that right then we are fully going against the constitution.

 @BCLXNWFRepublican from South Carolina  disagreed…2mos2MO

The right to vote should be a privilege afforded to only those who are citizens. Why would we allow foreigners who do not love our country nor have its people best interest in mind when voting?

 @BBXGQ25Republican from New York  disagreed…3mos3MO

I would say that if they are not a legal citizen they should not be able to vote on United States matters

 @B9YHBBTRepublican from Illinois  disagreed…4mos4MO

I think foreigners can vote but they have to be in the country legally as illegal voted can cause fraud in the elections.

 @B9RKQB8Republican from Texas  disagreed…4mos4MO

Although foreigners may be good people, may not be criminals, they still are not a US citizen, therefore they have no right to be part of the election of the US president.

 @BDR2PVFRepublican from Minnesota  disagreed…6 days6D

they don't live here are arent ffted by the new rules and laws and policies put in by the new president

 @BCPWML3Republican from Texas  disagreed…2mos2MO

I don't think foreigners should be able to vote because they are not citizens of the United States, so policy's don't affect them the same as a regular civilian.

 @B9T4FRFRepublican from New York  disagreed…4mos4MO

People who do not live in or are not a part of a specific country/nation should not be able to have a part in making decisions for that country.

 @B9KJB9HRepublican from Illinois  disagreed…4mos4MO

They aren't from here and are not here legally and they do not provide to this country so they shouldn't not be able to vote.

 @B9CZ6CFRepublican from Florida  disagreed…5mos5MO

I vote "No" on Right of Foreigners to Vote. You must be an American Citizen to vote in our country.

 @B8ZLKWNRepublican from Pennsylvania  disagreed…5mos5MO

If I would go to another country and I wasn't a citizen, then I wouldn't be able to vote in their elections. Therefore, why should they be allowed to vote in ours?

 @B8FV4FMRepublican from Idaho  disagreed…7mos7MO

People who are not citizens shouldn't be able to decide on the government that is affecting the citizens.

 @BD6D9HZRepublican from Minnesota  disagreed…1mo1MO

My best argument for the yes position on the right of foreigners to vote is that they don't pay taxes, so they should not have a say in who is in office, deciding what happens with my tax dollars. If they are legal immigrants and pay taxes, they should be granted the right to vote.

 @B8B2WDTRepublican from Colorado  disagreed…7mos7MO

Because they are not us, they just come into the USA and use our taxes to get free housing, free health car,e and they can vote, absolutely not, and they should be deported

 @BDM9MY5Republican from New York  disagreed…2wks2W

They shouldn't be allowed to vote because they haven't been in our country to understand our ways and means

 @BD8Y4YTRepublican from Pennsylvania  disagreed…4wks4W

Anyone foreign should not be allowed to vote before they can 'acclimate' to life inside the United States. They should be able to learn of issues that affect them on a local and national level before being able to participate in elections

 @B8VY8RVRepublican from Missouri  disagreed…6mos6MO

If a US citizen has to wait 18 years to vote, why should it be allowed for someone who has waited nothing to come and vote for an issue that shouldn't be effecting them in the first place.

 @BDHXBN5Republican from New Jersey  disagreed…3wks3W

depends. if they are legal, sure. if they are illegal and have no documentation then absolutely not.

 @BCJMCD2Republican from Texas  disagreed…2mos2MO

Voting should be reserved for citizens because it reflects full membership in the political community, including long-term commitment, legal responsibility, and allegiance to the nation—factors that go beyond simply residing or working in the country.

 @BCJ4S7SRepublican from California  disagreed…2mos2MO

If they are legal, play taxes, and overall a functioning member of society then yes they should vote.

 @BB44K98Republican from Arizona  disagreed…4mos4MO

If they are a citizen of this country they can vote. If you aren’t a citizen you shouldn’t have a say in federal elections that effect citizens

 @B9NGYSXRepublican from Florida  disagreed…4mos4MO

They are not citizens who pay taxes, so we have to pay for them. If we pay for them, we get to at least choose our president as citizens.

 @B933S2Lfrom Guam  disagreed…5mos5MO

If they are not a citizen of this country and therefore dont belong in this country then why should they have a say in a country they dont even leagally live in

 @B8YH3PFRepublican from Ohio  disagreed…6mos6MO

If they are legal citizens with green cards and have passed the citizenship test then they should be allowed to vote. Otherwise they need to wait as established by law and/or constitution.

 @B8B3LVYRepublican from Minnesota  disagreed…7mos7MO

Foreigners should not be allowed to decide the fate of the country without actually being a US citizen.

 @B89KKJ5Republican from Illinois  disagreed…7mos7MO

They are not American Citizens and therefore do not and should not have the right to influence American politics.

 @BDJNQF6Republican from Nebraska  disagreed…2wks2W

Unless they are legal citizens of the United States, their opinion should have no affect on the leader of thee UNITED STATES.

 @BDHMFK6Republican from Texas  disagreed…3wks3W

Foreign born citizens have rights, however we cannot maintain the current state of the United States of America by allowing these. Although input from other countries, allowing many of these citizens could jeopardize the system we have established as well as possible possibly corrupting the voting system to favor the people we do not even reside in the country.

 @BCTPGK9Republican from North Dakota  disagreed…2mos2MO

If they aren't apart of this country then they should have no right or reason to vote in this country.

 @BB27VSKRepublican from Michigan  disagreed…4mos4MO

If they have a green card and are a U.S. citizen, you are more than welcome to vote, but if you aren't, get out and try the test

 @B8BDM7ZRepublican from Pennsylvania  disagreed…7mos7MO

Foreigners should not have the right to vote because they aren't even supposed to be in the country if they are illegal. Foreigners who have valid identification and have gone through the process of becoming citizens should be allowed to vote. People who are in the country illegally should not be allowed to vote and should be deported.

 @B85Z77Q from Massachusetts  disagreed…7mos7MO

If they are given the right to vote, politicians can sway and sell their opinions a lot easier than a citizen. Incentivizing citizenship through voting will negate the bi partisan system we have and decrease tge minority party even more.

 @B85VZ8VRepublican from Virginia  disagreed…7mos7MO

If they not are citizens of the country they shouldn’t be able to vote like citizens of the country on the matter of who runs the country.

 @BCS98QYRepublican from Minnesota  disagreed…2mos2MO

They don't live in the country and the politics doesn't affect them when they are in another country.

 @BCLT4Z2Republican from New York  disagreed…2mos2MO

Foreigners can easily leave the country if they don't like the policies, America should be run by its citizens no just anyone

 @BCF8RBVRepublican from Kentucky  disagreed…2mos2MO

People who are not living in the United States or legal should not have the right to have a say in what happens in our country.

 @BBZYFGZRepublican from Arkansas  disagreed…3mos3MO

They need to go through the process of becoming legal citizens of the US. If they are legal citizens, then they should be able to vote.

 @BB4DH2FRepublican from North Carolina  disagreed…4mos4MO

U.S. citizens should be protected and the nation should be guarded against illegal immigrants who don't even have the right to be in our country.

 @B89QLD4Republican from Indiana  disagreed…7mos7MO

Foreigners should only be allowed to vote given the have been established citizenship and been a part of the community for at least 5 years.

 @B8XYZP5Republican from Missouri  disagreed…6mos6MO

Unless foreigners have educate themselves on our political system and climate, they should not have the right to vote. This is because they would be voting uneducated. I also believe we should require political schooling for immigrants since it is a required high school credit.

 @BDLQCSDRepublican from Nevada  disagreed…2wks2W

If policies passed are **** ed up, the foreigners can go back home, but the American citizens have no where to run to when the country **** s itself up.

 @BD6XJ29Republican from Minnesota  disagreed…1mo1MO

I do not think foreigners should be able to vote as they originate from another country, so the shouldn’t really get to have a say unless they have been around for a while.

 @B9XX9T6Republican from Pennsylvania  agreed…4mos4MO

They would mess up the voting, with there opinions based on them being illegal, not by being apart of the US.

 @B9T42NXRepublican from Nebraska  disagreed…4mos4MO

they shouldn't because why would you get to come here and try to change things and make our country worse or like theirs. there is a reason they left. and they get to do whatever they want here and its not hair that we have to pay higher taxes for them to sit around and do nothing.

 @B9KJ7M2Republican from Illinois  disagreed…4mos4MO

Why should foreigners be able to vote. They don't need to be able to vote cause they're not a citizen.

 @B8MJDLNRepublican from Arkansas  disagreed…6mos6MO

Citizens! have a right to vote, the immigrants are not citizens, meaning they don't have a right to vote that is how it should be.

 @B8CDCLXRepublicanfrom Guam  disagreed…7mos7MO

Birthrates are low due to modernisation so eventually immigrants would be a larger and larger slice of the political pie if given the right to vote, meaning appealing to them over natural born citizens would become politically viable and disadvantages those who are born here.

 @BDBDXWQRepublican from Louisiana  disagreed…3wks3W

Giving the right to vote to non-citizens is dangerous because they may corrupt our government system for the benefit of their country.

 @BCN3Q9JRepublican  from Missouri  disagreed…2mos2MO

No US tourist could just walk into another country and dictate who runs it, why would we allow another foreigner to do the same?

 @BCL87B5Republican  from Texas  disagreed…2mos2MO

Foreigners should not be allowed to vote as they con leave if they don’t like the current politics. They also don’t care as much about elections.

 @B8GX6DQRepublican from Idaho  disagreed…7mos7MO

If they are illegal, they have no right to affect any of us Americans. We have the right to enjoy our homeland.

 @B88NXMGRepublican from Wisconsin  disagreed…7mos7MO

they're not from here, so they play little to no part in the function of the government and economy. and its just wrong letting others vote.

 @BD5YDKBRepublican from Delaware  disagreed…4wks4W

We don’t need illegal citizens voting for our government members. And they don’t truly symbolize what the people of America truly want because they are not from America

 @BD2YP44 from Colorado  disagreed…1mo1MO

This would discredit the current election process by allowing people who do not love America or the culture here to vote for people who would not better the country.
