I think that abortion should only be provided to those who have been violated or if it puts the mother's health at high risk.

 @B9XP2Z2 from Michigan  disagreed…5mos5MO

The argument is centered on the belief that this only affects the woman's body. However, the question is, does the baby have rights? Does every human inherently have value and rights? Every baby deserves protecting, I think there should be better ways of taking care of pregnant women and harsher laws / greater protections against atrocities like rape. I, as an adult, do not have the right to kill a child or adult, so pregnant women should not be able to choose to kill their child, either.

Due to a religious background, I personally believe that it is neither moral nor fair to take away a life before it's even begun. I understand this may cause trouble for the mother, but there are foster homes and other resources that the child could go to if they choose to.

It does not matter. It is a future child's life. Only in cases of rape and health issues on the mother. Having sex with a partner with consent should know the consequences. You should only being doing those actions if you want to have a kid and your married.

Biologically, conception is the start of life. A pre-born baby IS a human person and their life should be protected. No circumstance or situation changes that value of the life. Your right to your body is valid, but you don't have a right to choose that the life of someone else ends, ever. Everyone has the right to liberty, property, and LIFE, and these rights should be protected, especially for the vulnerable (unborn babies).

Legally a fetus is considered a being at 2 weeks and morally it is considered a being at its making therefore it is murder under both moral and state law.

Abortion is a preventable cause of death for millions of unborn babies. As soon as the egg inside a woman is fertilized, it's a human being. We talk about women having the choice to do whatever they want to their bodies, but what about the baby inside? Does it get to choose if it wants to live or die? And why would anyone want to rid themselves of a child like this when they can just put the baby up for adoption, so someone who actually wants to be a parent can give the child a happy life. Rape is a terrible thing, but it's not the child's fault for what happened. If the child…  Read more

A fetus is not part of the woman's body, at conception it has its own DNA and should be considered a human life.

 @BB2GNRTIndependence from Arizona  commented…5mos5MO

The child can’t live on its own without the mother’s body. Therefore the baby and the mother share the mother’s body while developing. It’s murder to interrupt that process. Sex ed needs to be taught in a way that’s different than it is now. Don’t talk about gay sex or oral sex. Talk about conception and protection. Promote waiting. This will lessen teen pregnancy, accidental pregnancy. Rape and incest pregnancy is a very small percent of the abortion statistic, and shouldn’t be as heavily influenced when determining whether abortion is right or wrong.

Pro-life arguments center on the conviction that human life begins at conception/fertilization, possessing unique DNA and full personhood, making abortion the ending of a human life. Key arguments include the fetus's right to life, the immorality of depriving a future, the ability to feel pain, and the moral duty to protect vulnerable, developing human beings.
Scientific and Biological Reality: At fertilization, a unique set of human DNA is created, establishing a distinct human life with its own gender, eye color, and genetic code.

I think abortion is on the same grounds of murder and that it is worse because it is the murder of a child. Majority of the time, having a child is the consequence of someones actions and they should have to answer for that. I know there are cases in which it was against their control or would harm the mother. However these are slim occurrences and the practice of abortion should majoritivley banned.

 @B9YBSQJ  from Louisiana  disagreed…5mos5MO

Ultimately, it comes down to whether the fetus is indeed a developing human being or not. It undeniably is and should be treated with full human dignity. There are some health risk situations, such as an ectopic pregnancy, where the mother's life ought to be prioritized; however, that is a rare circumstance. I am a committed Catholic, and must stand by what I believe is true and good.

I heavily and I can support someone not being comfortable with abortion as long as they do not physically obstruct other people’s ability to a choice

 @B9YV2VS from Missouri  disagreed…5mos5MO

Its not YOUR body its another human being that has their own right too. Its considered a double homicide when a pregnant women dies so why is it so casual to kill a baby, just cause its not birthed yet.

 @B9XXLMQ from Texas  disagreed…5mos5MO

I understand if someone doesn't support abortion for THEMSELVES but not everyone shares those beliefs. And some people that are raped or affected by incest may not share those belief's and deserve rights to abortion.

 @B9Y7G2S from Texas  disagreed…5mos5MO

The issue is not about what a woman does with her own body, but rather what she does with the body growing inside of her. Life scientifically begins at conception and because of this, I believe the termination of a pregnancy (or a life) is morally wrong to the same extent as murder.

 @B9XPJY8 from Kansas  disagreed…5mos5MO

A fetus is alive since birth, I understand that it can be hard but this causes a loss in a potential life. this could be just as bad, and yes with rape being difficult, its still a living being, with a chance to do great things, do you really wanna take away their chance at living?

 @B9XYVCY from California  disagreed…5mos5MO

I somewhat agree, but I do not think babies should be aborted after 2 months unless it is a health hazard, rape, or the mother is young.

 @BB3FZGZ from Virginia  disagreed…4mos4MO

It's no their own body, its another body growing inside them, so there are two seperate bodies and lives involved

 @B9Y3GQM from Arizona  agreed…5mos5MO

In short, Abortion is the decision of the individual and hardly warrants intervention of the government.

 @B9Y23YDNo Labels from Nevada  disagreed…5mos5MO

I agree with abortion in the way if the victim was raped, sexually assaulted or incest. As they didn’t get the choice to get pregnant but was forced to so I feel that they can be allowed to get an abortion.

 @B9XQ7QX from Michigan  disagreed…5mos5MO

I COMPLETELY AGREE AND ABORTION SHOULD RECEIVE THE DEATH PENALTY FOR THE WOMAN AND ALL OF HER 3RD COUSINS
