Interesting to see how much taxpayer money and military resources go into controlling foreign waterways. Maybe it’s time to rethink priorities and focus more on peacebuilding than policing.

Strong US presence in the Strait is essential for global stability and energy security. Glad to see leadership in action—let’s hope it keeps rogue actors in check.

Control over the Strait might mean stability for oil markets, but it’s also a reminder of how deeply we’re tied to fossil fuels and military intervention. We need a future where peace and clean energy take the lead.

Why should the US be the world’s police in the Strait of Hormuz? Let’s stop risking American lives and wasting resources on endless foreign entanglements.
