So you’re saying LGBTQ people are 100% perverted and therefore shouldn’t adopt? Let’s break this down. If we’re using biblical standards, the Bible talks about things like lying, cheating, greed, and other sins just as much, if not more, than sexual behavior. But we don’t go around saying liars or greedy people can’t adopt children, even though those behaviors damage families too. Jesus himself calls remarriage after divorce "adultery" in Matthew 19:9, yet I don't hear you advocating for banning divorced people from adopting. And guess what?…  Read more

Again, you're adding things to my argument. I didn't say they were 100% perverted – some of them have good intentions, some of them are not toxic people – but in a strictly s-xual sense, yes they are perverted, just as someone who is colourblind has a perverted sense of vision. Also, the Bible clearly calls "homosexuality" an "abomination" – in fact, such an abomination that God destroyed Sodom and Gommorah for it in the book of Genesis. To be clear, think everyone should be held to the same standard. If someone has a criminal record, is not loving, supportive, or capable, then they should not be able to adopt

Everything that you stated as being called an 'abomination' is from the old covenant, before Christ. The abominations we state are supported by the new covenant, after Christ, and thus they apply to our world today.
