You don't have to consent to Vaccines, I do believe you should be able to choose, but at the very least stay heavily educated on the subject matter instead of spouting out ideas of it being toxins when it's just dead/weakened Viruses meant to train your body. If people still refuse to Vaccinate or get their kids vaccinated that should be their choice, but they should at the very least be well aware of the consequences.

I do agree that we should not force people to get vaccines. It is their own free will to get on or not.

 @BBXP5B7 from Florida  agreed…3mos3MO

No matter the health benefits, vaccines' risks can never be outweighed by their "benefits" whatsoever. We should only allow the parent or legal guardian to make these decisions for their children.

Your belief is one thing, and I will not deny you your ability to believe. But from one believer to another, I would rather be safe and healthy. Happy knowing my family is safe, by taking a small needle that will help me be immune to the most recent disease or problem.

I agree with the position on Mandatory vaccinations because sometimes our bodies immune system can become weak due to all the bacteria around us and the way we live, like what we eat or how we sleep.

 @BBXVD8L from Washington  disagreed…3mos3MO

The immune system can only recognize and thoroughly get rid of a virus/bacteria when a weak strain is introduced. If a strong strain of a virus is introduced to a child, the likelihood they will die is extremely high. What is important to know is that viruses are a special kind of "illness," they are made from strains of protein, unlike a bacteria/fungi which are techincally living beings. While, for instance, the COVID vaccine may not immediately give an indivudal complete immunity from a disease, that is due to the fact that viruses are able to constantly evolve and morph. Vaccines are necessary for not just an individual themself, but for the safety of others. It's selfish to endanger other vulnerable individuals, whether it relates to babies or the elderly, because someone is anti-vaxx. Vaccines are a mandate within the schools; it should be respected.

 @BBXRKF8Peace and Freedom from New York  disagreed…3mos3MO

you should give consent because just because your body fought it this time doesn't mean you shouldn't get a vaccination for safety reasons

 @BBXQSXN from Colorado  disagreed…3mos3MO

Why should I take the vaccination if I'm not currently infected. I should only have to take it when I am infected and at risk of hospitalization.

 @BBXQM6M from North Dakota  disagreed…3mos3MO

Vaccines are incredibly important for eradicating and preventing disease. However people should not be forced to take vaccines because it is fallible to human errors in both research and fabrication. I believe that letting people, through education and regulation come to their own decision on whether or whether not to take a vaccine.

Side note, I do believe that infants should be REQUIRED to get certain vaccinations.

 @BBXQ5R3 from Iowa  disagreed…3mos3MO

Being unvaccinated puts others at risk. Being unvaccinated has created a rise in diseases that were nearly irradicated and children are dying. Vaccines are safe, they are not toxic. There are more toxins in the food and drink you put in your body daily than in a vaccine.

 @BBXQ4X2Peace and Freedom from Connecticut  disagreed…3mos3MO

God did make the human body with a wonderful immune system, but the immune system is not perfect and can't always defend itself against diseases and illnesses. So the vaccine is the best option, and it also prevents others from getting sick. This is just a selfish opinion and statement that seeks to only do what this person wants for no reason at all. This decision only creates more problems for yourself and for others.

 @BBXPRD9 from Ohio  disagreed…3mos3MO

Getting a vaccine doesn't make people sick and not giving children vaccines would put them in danger.

 @BBXPR9L  from Missouri  disagreed…3mos3MO

You do you, but stay away from my family and my kids I don’t need them getting sick because of you. My family is happily vaccinated but I wouldn’t risk their health just because you don’t want to vaccinate yourself.

 @BBXYQHJ from New Mexico  disagreed…3mos3MO

No because even if you think god made a perfect body, you are still a public safety hazard and can cause harm or even death to people with weaker immune systems.

 @BBZ3PHD from Michigan  commented…3mos3MO

My county has at least three measles cases now, first measles in 30 years. Thanks, you no shots people.

Also, like it or not, vaccines are what made COVID a manageable threat and not an active plague. They are why polio and smallpox are gone, and why thousands of children reach adulthood without dying of diphtheria, whooping cough, birth abnormalities caused by German measles, etc. Do you really want all those diseases back?

Is our immune system so improved compared to the twentieth and nineteenth centuries that these illnesses wouldn't come roaring back? Please don't fool yourself. And if you're saying you have an unusually strong immune system and you don't care about anybody else's, then that is a horribly selfish decision IMO.
