The argument I have is, why do you call it a "baby shower" if you claim it is just a fetus?
From a religious standpoint, it is the complete opposite of the Eucharist and the murder of an innocent child.

A fetus is a human being. Abortion is murder and wrong. I do sympathise with the people who were forced to conceive, however the killing of a child makes them no better that the person who wronged them. But those abortions are rare. the majority of abortions are because women cant close their legs and guys are no better.

I don't agree with abortion you and litally killing a innocent child that can't speak for theirselves. Why do you call a bacteria on mars a life but not a heartbeat in a mothers belly. Also my grandma has always said "no wonder we haven't found a care for cancer people now days are killing they baby's. I just don't get it how you could her the heartbeat of your baby inside of your belly and decide to kill it, it is so sad.

first of all "litally"? if you can not spell you should not be debating important topics. But to the real point, If a 13 year old kid wanted to sign something, they cant. They are under the age of consent and technically cant speak for themselves. Everything they do is up to the parents. Just as their life should be.

Yes, abortion is murdering a baby child and should be illegal unless the baby in the uterus is medically harmful to the mother

it's called a baby shower because the mother is planning to give birth to the fetus that eventually becomes a BABY. also, baby showers are held usually 28-32 weeks into the pregnancy, and abortions can only be performed up until ~24 weeks. so by the time this event happens, the fetus has already developed into a baby and is no longer viable for abortions.

when it comes to a baby shower, its friends and family "showering" the baby regardless of it being a fetus. friends and family bring gifts and necessities that the baby will need when the baby comes into this world. When baby showers occur, the baby is already past the point of abortion, making the argument somewhat irrelevant.

"Baby Shower" parties are to celebrate and gain gifts for the fetus that will eventually grow into an actual baby. The parties are used to prepare the parents for the future that awaits. Everyone has different beliefs in religion, so I see no need in bringing it up in an argument debating the rights of someone's own body and their decision to do what they want to their own body. Religion has no purpose in this argument because of the diversity that there is in the world.

People often use the word “baby” in everyday language during pregnancy (like “baby shower”) as a cultural and emotional term, not a precise biological or legal definition. Even people who support abortion rights may still say “baby” in a personal or social context. It doesn’t always reflect a claim about when personhood begins—it’s more about attachment, anticipation, and tradition.
