Unborn fetuses are still (innocent) human lives. The termination of that life - under any circumstances - is murder.

This is an oversimplification of biology and the current state of family planning and medicine in this country. It ignores the restrictions on reliable access to birth control, ignores the biological realities of pregnancy, and ignores the ways in which maternal lives can be put at risk by pregnancy itself and our current approach to pregnancy-related medical care.

They aren't even conscious beings yet. They cannot think at all, they cannot comunicate. A woman should not have to keep a child she doesn't want, as that will lead to mental health problems, abuse, and child endangerment. A woman should also not have to keep a child that she cannot care for, whether financially, physically, or mentally. A woman should not have to keep a child that was created through rape/inscest. It is severely detrimental to the mental and physical health of the mother and the child. And giving the child up for adoption/foster care is not any better. The foster… Read more

Before 21 weeks, the fetus is still a clump of cells. So yes, the woman terminated the potential of life, but did not murder a baby. There are many reasons why someone may need an abortion, such as medical conditions that complicate the pregnancy/ birthing process, and some of these conditions can be fatal to the mother if she goes through with the pregnancy.

Fetuses are not conscious meaning they don't understand anything let alone the concept of living. Pro choice is important because there are many factors leading to the abortion of a child such as possible health issues during and after pregnancy to the mother and baby along with financial and mental issues for the family as a whole.
Unborn fetuses and NOT human beings yet. They can not breath, get nutrients, or have any kind of movment without the help of other things I the woom. So how is something murder if murder is take a life but the "baby" wasn't even born yet? You are ALIVE from the moment you are born to the moment you die meaning that if you are not born yet you are not alive yet.

Childbirth can cause physical and emotional trauma to women and is very expensive to both go through the birth and to commit to taking care of the child. In addition, the woman will have to sacrifice over 18 years of her life for the child and that's if she even decides to keep the baby. The life and autonomy of the woman doing the actual birthing should be prioritized over a fetus.

Unborn fetuses are simply not even conscious or alive until around five weeks of pregnancy, when the heartbeat first occurs within the fetus. Yes that fetus would be a person who is alive and functioning if the pregnancy is not terminated, but before a heartbeat, I don't think this should be considered murder.

Although they may technically be alive after a certain time period has passed, they have not acquired any experiences or "lived." It is more detrimental for the mother to be forced to bring to term an unwanted pregnancy, and will likely result in more suffering for the child they were forced to birth in the long run.

The earliest it has been reported for a fetus to live outside the host is 15 weeks. Potential life may have been lost but it is not murder and should not be considered that. The host is someone who is alive and who's life could be greatly impacted by the decision to give birth to the potential life.
