Outlaw it

Yes, but eliminate marriage entirely from governmental oversight, and make the default a civil union

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia  commented…2yrs2Y

Honestly I’d be good with this, civil unions for all under the law sounds better than just limiting it to non-straight people.

same sex marriages can not be refused because it is a constitutional right but churches should be allowed to refuse based on there religious beliefs

If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman what he has done is deceitful. He is to be put to death his blood is on his own hands.

 @9GNRVFH from New Jersey  answered…2yrs2Y

You can love whoever you want just a long as whatever you do is behind closed doors but marriage is between a man and a woman.

It should be a state issue. Churches should be allowed to refuse to perform the ceremony.

 @972F6LS from New York  answered…3yrs3Y

There was never a ban on gay marriage. Marriage is a religious institution not civil.

No, the government should have no say in marriage whether same sex or otherwise. Churches should also have the right to refuse

 @93MGLS9 from Indiana  answered…3yrs3Y

I don’t support it. However we live in a free country where you can decide who to marry.

 @932L7F4Republican from Minnesota  answered…3yrs3Y

No, marriage is a faith-based institution, and any attempt to redefine it is simply antagonistic encroachment

 @8XL4WLW from Pennsylvania  answered…4yrs4Y

Government should not be involved in social contracts, at all. That would remove limitations on all people.

 @8RGXC9J from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

No, the government should only deal in civil unions for both heterosexual and homosexual couples.

 @8R5NNGX from Missouri  answered…5yrs5Y

I believe the government shouldn’t even be allowed to touch marriage. I believe if you as an individual want to get married that’s your right and your decision.

 @8CVVWLM from South Carolina  answered…5yrs5Y

No, i dont support it, but I can't tell other people what to do and I think that it should be allowed,

 @9CNWJPF from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

No, marriage is a religious sacrament and needs to be kept separate from a domestic partnership.

This June 26th Supreme Court Ruling is, contrary to what many would say, blatantly unconstitutional. It is a gross defiance of separation of powers and an example of judicial activism -- the Court acting as a legislative body rather than a judicial one. Also, it defies States' Rights, the very cornerstone of our Constitution and our laws, by forcing every State to yield to the dictates of a tyrannical federal government.

 @99398VJRepublican from Kansas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, no Government Influence AND allocate the right to refuse service by the churches.

God was very clear about his feelings towards homosexuality. That said, I'm not sure the government should even have a say in the matter.
