No, and we should recognize religious marriages as a legitimate form of marriage instead of civil marriage.

 @9D4ZPFY from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

No, but we should abolish legal marriages and legitimatize religious marriages.

 @B55GLVN from Georgia  answered…5mos5MO

Take the government out of marriage and make it a consensual decision between the people getting married.

 @9DDHKSZ from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

No, because we should abolish legal marriages and recognize only religious marriages.

 @9D5XBHH from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

No, because marriages is between a man and a woman and also we should abolish legal marriages and start to recognize religious marriages.

 @B628MY7Libertarian from Georgia  answered…2mos2MO

Yes, because what someone does with their personal life should not be my concern or control when it comes to whom they choose to lay with as long as its a mutual love.

 @B4FCJW4Republican from Georgia  answered…6mos6MO

No, make it federally illegal!! This is like asking "Should pedophilia be legal?", absolutely not!! That is revoking innocent children's innocence, law and order, and is a huge disrespect towards the age gap and the age of consent. Any perverted attraction should be immediately addressed by mental health figures because we cannot control who we are attracted to. What we can do is act on it and choose whether or not to overcome it. Also, God intended for there to be a nuclear family: a man and a woman.

 @B4D6KHP from Georgia  answered…6mos6MO

No, I do not. In fact, I support FEDERALLY outlawing it!! The reason why is because it is a perverted attraction. This is basically like asking "Should pedophilia be legal?" Absolutely not!! That is an mockery of the age gap and the age of consent!! That is taking away the poor young kids' innocence! I understand that people to some measures have no control over who they are attracted to. Which is why for any perverted abnormal attraction whether it is pedophilia, les, gay, bisexual, queer, pansexual, etc., anyone experiencing it should go seek some serious help from therapy. Because attraction itself we cannot control, but we can overcome it and not act on it. Also, God intended for there to be a nuclear family: A man and a woman!!

 @B4D2S2Z from Georgia  answered…6mos6MO

I Believe that people have the free-will to choose what they want in life. Sometimes it leads to consequences and sometimes it leads to good-things.

 @B3ZYM5D from Georgia  answered…6mos6MO

For the sake of freedom, checks and balances, federalism, and weak government, I believe that they should not be outlawed; at the same time, I STRONGLY oppose homosexual marriages because God intended for there to be a man and a woman married together; once again, I respect the fact that individuals who are LGBTQ cannot control that, what I do not agree with, but at the same time am indifferent about is choosing to act on their urges and not overcome it; I would not outlaw it, instead, I would encourage LGBTQ folks to seek mental help and therapy

 @B3ZKJBVIndependent from Georgia  answered…6mos6MO

Yes, and I feel that anyone should have the right to get married to anyone they want, and the government certainly shouldn't be able to stop them.

 @B3T3SC7 from Georgia  answered…6mos6MO

Yes, anyone should have the right to marry whoever they choose and the government should not have the right to tell people otherwise

 @B3RT6YQ  from Georgia  answered…6mos6MO

I do not care who anyone marries; I just don't want the topic of LGBTQ+ thrown into my face every day. Just because you like different people or consider yourself another gender, it does not mean I care about your decision. I'm worried about my life and how it is affecting my future family and the teachings I stand on. I think it is inappropriate to have LGBTQ+ glorified like it is anywhere you go. I should be able to tell my kids what these topics mean on my timeline, not the world. I do support same-sex marriages and am not opposed to this community, as long as every person is res…  Read more

 @B3CBWPL from Georgia  answered…7mos7MO

I think we should just let them do them because is it really your business what they like or don't like.

 @9VR9RWW from Georgia  answered…11mos11MO

The government does not have the right to oppose the sexual orientation of anyone. A wedding is a bond between two individuals who want to spend the rest of their lives with each other, it’s a promise. Nothing is there that says a wedding HAS to be a marriage between people who identify as “male” and “female”.

 @9RXM79Q from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

You can’t take it away now, but call it civil union and let the churches, mosques and synagogues do what they need to do without govt interfere

 @9RWP73Z from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

while i may not do it myself , it doesnt necessarily affect my everyday life therefore does not bother me

 @9RLNRZ4 from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but allow churches to refuse same-sex marriages, and take the government out of marriage and make it a religious decision.

 @7KGLYFL  from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

The government should not recognize religious marriages, only civil unions. Government should only care about the contract and allow heterosexuals & homosexuals to enter into civil unions.

 @9NG26QW from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

No, and we should abolish civil marriages and reestablish religious marriages as a legitimate form of marriage.

 @9NFZ4WQ from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

Yes! but I would prefer the state recognize no "marriages", only civil unions. Marriage should not be an affair of the state.

 @9MNG4VT from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

Honestly I don't really have an opinion on the matter marry who ever you want to marry I guess as long as they are of legal age and not being forced too.

 @9KTKF3QLibertarian from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

As a Gay Man, Obviously Yes I Agree; it's my and others right to marry regardless of who we marry, the fact that a lot of states are still stuck in the 1700s legally is appalling and sad.

 @9G487PK from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes because marriage is and should be between two consenting adults who want it, despite who or what gender the two people are.

 @9DZWP6H  from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

It is ultimately up to the consenting adults, the government should not be able to decide who you can and can't love.

 @9DXKTY2 from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

No, and we should abolish legal marriages and legitimatize religious marriages.

 @9DRHX76  from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

"Marriage" is a religiously-derived construct; however, the desire between consenting adults of any identity or demographic regardless of gender or orientation to join in a legal union for tax/medical/legal benefit purposes should not be denied, and neither should the desire to exit or dissolve any such associations

 @B35SWWK  from Georgia  answered…7mos7MO

No, marriage should be defined as between a man and woman

#1 Engaged The Bible

You can date but marriage shouldn't be an option.

Personally as a Christian, I will always bring religion into this. The bible very clearly states that a romantic relationship should be between a man and a woman. My beliefs will always align with the bible. So therefore I do not think that same-sex marriage should not be legalized nor should relationships.

 @9W9F4B9 from Georgia  answered…11mos11MO

Yes, but allow private churches the option to refuse same-sex ceremonies, because you cant force anyone do accept it, also it could cause unfair and discriminatory treatment.

 @9W8WJ6JIndependent from Georgia  answered…11mos11MO

as said before; personally I disagree, but humans have the god-given right to marriage, regardless if it's considered a sinful wedding.

 @9DZSN4Z from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

No, same sex marriage is literally impossible, as marriage IS between a man and a woman

 @93MZBRZ from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

If two people love one another and want to spend their life with one another that is none of my business. I could care less.

 @93MMSML from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

 @93KYL2L from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

They should be able to LOVE AND MARRY who they love, with out outsiders in their business. This world is not run by religion but by Free will of the people!

 @99WP6CKIndependent from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

I don't think thats the reason that god put us in this world i think he put us in here for a girl to date a boy/guy not the same gender i think it should be the same way for males.

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas  commented…2yrs2Y

We aren't a theocracy; the law doesn't care what your god thinks. You literally said this about vaccinations: "I think this should be there own choice because some people don't believe in it", and yet you can't apply that to your own religious takes..?

 @9BPD3NX from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

No; marriage is defined by God, not the government, as between one man and one woman; sodomite make-believe relationships should never be recognized or dignified as anything other than an offense against God and the natural order.

 @99YZQ9Z from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

I don't think the government should be involved. Gay people should be allowed to marry as they are people just like straight people. It should be equal regardless of who someone prefers as there partner.

 @99X94J2Peace and Freedom from Georgia  answered…2yrs2Y

I think that everyone should be able to love and marry anyone they want, despite the gender.

 @99Q6MPQ from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

As long as all have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

 @99N44GD from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

Same-sex marriage should be kept legal, but no one should be able to force a church minister or other devoutly religious leader who does marriages to marry a gay couple, since there are plenty of options for gay couples to get court documentation.

 @96L3CJZ from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96KLLSB from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

 @95M66K2 from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes , its not up to the governement to tell people who they can marry and who they cannot marry

 @95JGFXT from Georgia  answered…3yrs3Y

No, I do not support the legalization of same sex marriage, and i dont support it because in the bible it does not say anywhere that you are supposed to marry a man if you are a man, it even says that a man is supposed to marry a woman and make a family, so if you marry a man you will most likely go to hell because it is a sin.
