No. I want the government out of marriage, and same-sex marriage is itself a government invention. Stop treating homosexual orientation as an important defining characteristic of a person one way or the other.

No. I want the government out of marriage altogether, and heterosexual marriage is a basic part of human nature which predates the government and does not need the government, while homosexual marriage is an artificial government invention.

Yes and religious marriages should be separate from legal marriage for everyone. No clergy of any kind should be permitted to enact a legal marriage and no American should be required to have a religious marriage. There is room at every wedding for a justice of the peace to do the civil part while a clergy does the religious part. Clergy will not be required to perform a religious marriage contrary to their beliefs.

Yes, 100% it literally does not hurt or affect you in anyway, love is love that shouldn't be put out just because they are the same gender.

Yes, what two consenting adults choose to do with their lives shouldn't be the governments business.

 @98XFRYS from New Hampshire  answered…3yrs3Y

The government should have no say in the matter, it is a personal decision.

Remove tax benefits for marriage. all individuals taxed as individuals. Marriage should be a personal union and should only be used for societal items such as shared healthcare, passing of assets upon death, etc.

 @mjmclaugh96drdirka from New Hampshire  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but federal government should not be involved. Churches should be allowed the right to refuse ceremonies.

The government has no right to make decisions based on religious reasons. Therefore constitutionally there is no ground for them to refuse homosexual couples.

Yes, it's a frickin sex for god damn sex for christ's sake, why should you care what's in their pants in your not their s/o and also why do you care so much about other's realtionships mind your own business, it's not that hard.

 @99VVVZZ from New Hampshire  answered…3yrs3Y

If you are happy with the person you are marrying then it should not matter, I am not against it or with it, you should be able to do what you want. I do not care.

It’s honestly none of my business what two consenting adults choose to do behind closed doors and if they want to get married or not.

 @97YK4TV from New Hampshire  answered…3yrs3Y

It doesn't really have a toll on me therefore I don't think there's a problem with same sex marriage.

 @97R9Z4M from New Hampshire  answered…3yrs3Y

I don't really care, it is the choice of the individual on who they like so they can marry who they want no matter what gender.
