Yes. Marriage should be defined as between a man and a woman, but we should still accept people and treat them with respect.

 @9WGRNTR from South Carolina  answered…11mos11MO

Yes but...

I believe in same sex marriage and should be honored by the state and church regardless of their personal beliefs, but I think that its best to remove marriage altogether from the state and church control.

 @B72DCXVWomen’s Equality from South Carolina  answered…1wk1W

Yes, some churches do same sex marriage. Once again not your life so don't try putting your opinion on someone else's life. I will walk away and pretend I heard of nothing and saw nothing if it doesn't involve me. \

 @9X7QGT2 from South Carolina  answered…11mos11MO

Yes, I respect people's right to exercise their personal freedom and marry who they love. However, I do not personally agree or believe in that lifestyle.

 @9N8MT4F  from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but the federal government should not be spending taxpayer money related to this. Any two consenting adults should have the right to marry

 @9RRRNQ2 from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but the federal government should not spend taxpayer money on this. Any two consenting adults should have the right to marry.

 @9MGDRT9Women’s Equality from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

Gay people are humans too and deserve to be married. A business does not have to serve them but they deserve the right to live like straight people.

 @9D4QSCN from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

Only if you allow other types of marriages like marring more than one person at a time.

 @9SKCTVM from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

Allow churches the right to refuse, and change the wording to a government union due to the religious correlation with the word marriage being a three way vow.

 @9QQGTCVTranshumanist from South Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but the government and religious institutions should both ideally be taken out of marriage altogether.

 @8C83BZL from South Carolina  answered…5yrs5Y

 @998CFG8 from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

No, and same-sex relationships should be criminalized

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia  commented…2yrs2Y

Absolutely not, they cause no harm, there is no logical reason on this earth that can outweigh the reasons to have it.

 @98PN4VH from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

No, because God is the only one who created and defined marriage. He defined it as a union between a man and a woman. Homosexuality is a choice. I think if two people want to pay for various benefits e.g., health benefits then they should be allowed but don't put that decision in the confines of marriage.

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas  commented…3yrs3Y

Marriage existed long before any Abrahamic religion; also, we don't (shouldn't) base our laws off of any religion, so that's irrelevant...

 @9BZ53RLIndependent from South Carolina  answered…2yrs2Y

same-sex marriage should be allowed as long as they do not force their beliefs on anyone else.

 @98MG2CP from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes even though I do believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman and allow churches the right to refuse same-sex ceremonies.

 @96NSHWQ from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96MYH6S from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96LFN2L from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

 @96KRLDC from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

I don't believe in same-sex marriages. However, you do what you want to do at the end of the day. It shouldn't matter what others have to say. If that is what you prefer then that's you.

 @96FBXPK from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

This is iffy becuase if the couple is christian then they can't get married under a church becuase its not okay in the eyes of god

 @96F8D4KWomen’s Equality from South Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y
