Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Social › LGBT Adoption Rights
8>8 Personal answerNo, and gay couples should not be able to adopt children |
Social › Abortion
8>8 Personal answerPro-life, but allow in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child. These quotes from Mother Teresa sum up my feelings about it: "Please don't kill the child. I want the child. Please give me the child. I am willing to accept any child who would be aborted, and to give that child to a married couple who will love the child, and be loved by the child." "Any country that accepts abortion, is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what it wants." "It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish." "The so-called right to abortion [...] has portrayed the greatest of gifts -- a child -- as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the independent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters" And, in granting this unconscionable power, it has exposed many women to unjust and selfish demands from their husbands or other sexual partners. Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being's entitlement by virtue of his humanity. The right to life does not depend, and must not be declared to be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or a sovereign." "But I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child - a direct killing of the innocent child - murder by the mother herself. And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love, and we remind ourselves that love means to be willing to give until it hurts. Jesus gave even his life to love us. So the mother who is thinking of abortion, should be helped to love - that is, to give until it hurts her plans, or her free time, to respect the life of her child. The father of that child, whoever he is, must also give until it hurts. By abortion, the mother does |
Social › Gay Marriage
8>8 Personal answerNo, marriage should be defined as between a man and woman |
the Economy › Equal Pay
8>8 Personal answerNo, there are too many other variables such as education, experience, and tenure that determine a fair salary |
Domestic Policy › Gun Control
8>8 Personal answerYes and no, require strict, reliable background checks. Traffic violations are fine, but stealing and violence are not. If they pass that, require psychological testing. If they are diagnosed with something proven to significantly increase the likelihood that they will act badly with the gun, require them to get treatment in order to have a gun. Make the background checks and psychological testing completely free. |
Crime › Police Body Cameras
8>8 Personal answerYes, this will protect the safety and rights of police officers and citizens |
Social › Marital Rape
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Insurrection Act
8>8 Personal answerNo, peaceful protests should be allowed, and the state already has means to stop riots. |
Healthcare › Drug Price Regulation
8>8 Personal answerYes, it should be limited on a case-by-case basis to determine how much is reasonable, if rewards the creators enough, and allows research to continue, balanced with making sure those who need it can get it within reason. |
Domestic Policy › COVID-19 School Closures
8>8 Personal answerNo, different communities need different solutions, and this gives the government too much power |
Healthcare › Pre-Existing Conditions
8>8 Personal answerDepends on the condition if its something like a kidney stone. condition that you don’t have control over than no but if the condition is caused by bad eating habits ir smoking that you had control over than yes |
Social › Gun Buyback
8>8 Personal answerNo, this is a violation of the 2nd amendment |
Social › Gender Identity
8>8 Personal answerI don't really understand the difference between gender identity and whether the person is straight or not, but people should NOT be discriminated against for who they are hormonally attracted to, except for jobs where what gender someone is attracted to is a specific factor, such as if the job was looking for women to do physicals for women since they wouldn't get attracted to them. However, behavior can be discriminated against, because it is a choice. For example, I can be discriminated against for proselyting to unwilling customers at my job, but not for my religion itself. The same should be for others, for other topics such as homosexual behavior. |
Healthcare › Mental Health
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Social › Religious Freedom Act
8>8 Personal answerYes, it's offensive, but it's not illegal to be offensive. It IS illegal to restrict religious practices like that. It's also the owner's money, the owner's property. They have a choice what to do with it. |
Social › Transgender Athletes
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only if their hormone levels are equivalent to those in the gender category in which they compete |
Immigration › Muslim Immigrant Ban
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Social › Planned Parenthood Funding
8>8 Personal answerRegardless, the government should not give any organization funds that will be used to perform abortions other than for rape, incest, or health issues. Abortion has been proven to have negative health effects on the mother, too. |
the Economy › Minimum Wage
8>8 Personal answerYes, and make it a living wage, and adjust it every year according to how much is needed for it to be a living wage, and adjust it based on cost of living in each area, and work up to it slowly or first experiment on small scales to see how to do it without raising prices too much, removing jobs, and otherwise shocking the economy. |
Domestic Policy › Armed Teachers
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only if they have a way to keep it from students. A simple metal safe with a 9 digit code will not be enough. Today's students often know programming and hacking, and how to melt things and break into safes. |
the Environment › Climate Change
8>8 Personal answerYes, and provide more incentives for alternative energy production |
the Economy › Paid Sick Leave
8>8 Personal answerYes, family is our top priority. |
Domestic Policy › Drug Policy
8>8 Personal answerNo, but decriminalize drugs that offer medicinal benefits such as marijuana |
Domestic Policy › Term Limits
8>8 Personal answerYES - People aren't usually motivated enough to study the candidates or vote, so we don't end up with as good of votes as usual. Term limits would make more people motivated. - Prevents corrupt people from getting too much power. - Gives lots more people chances to run for election, which means we have more options and can choose the best. |
Foreign Policy › Iran
8>8 Personal answerNo, the U.S. should encourage Iran to disarm through diplomatic channels |
the Economy › Taxes
8>8 Personal answerReform to a flat tax, as close to 10% as possible. A flat tax will naturally tax the rich more and the poor less. Consider reforming to taxing a flat tax on all income made after the amount needed in their situation for a fair standard of living. It could be taxed more than 10% in this case, I think. Give tax breaks for those with expensive medical conditions and one-time extenuating circumstances. Do not get rid of tax "loopholes" just because rich people use them; the loopholes were made intentionally to incentivize people to make businesses, which make jobs and stimulate the economy. Go ahead and close any that weren't meant for that, if you want. |
Foreign Policy › Mandatory Military Service
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Muslim Surveillance
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Elections › Foreign Lobbying
8>8 Personal answerNo, foreign interests should not be able to buy the influence of our politicians |
Immigration › Immigration
8>8 Personal answerYes, if they were born and raised here, to a certain age. If they are young enough that, if they went back home now, they would view their home country as "home" by the time they must support themselves, then I think it is okay to deport them with their families. If they are older than this, then they should be granted citizenship. |
Education › Student Loans
8>8 Personal answerNo, set a flat tax which will inevitable actually charge the rich a higher percent compared to what they need and will automatically charge the poor less. As for loans, it's not a crime for a bank to follow through with the agreement students made with them. However, debt is awful, so anything we can do to help is great. Use crowdsourcing/crowdfunding (voluntary donations and aid) to decrease student debt, rather than using taxes (involuntary donations and aid). |
Education › Free College for All
8>8 Personal answerThey can, but they should only pay for it as long as the student is getting a certain grade (if they aren't graded on a curve). If another, more cost-effective way, can be done, that would be preferable. For example, they can allow people to donate to it when they file taxes, and perhaps they could incentivize such donations, but not require them. |
Social › Death Penalty
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Immigration › Deporting Criminal Immigrants
8>8 Personal answerYes, as long as it is safe for them to return to their country. As citizens they are subject to the same revoking of citizenship as American criminals are. |
Healthcare › Marijuana
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only for medical use |
Elections › Mail In Ballot
8>8 Personal answerNo, this raises the risk of voter fraud too much. |
Social › Confederate Flag
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only at historical monuments where it was originally flown |
Social › Government Mandates
8>8 Personal answerNo, this will encourage sexual sin without apparent consequences, oversteps the bounds of government, and would mean requiring them to offer a luxury for free. |
Domestic Policy › No-Fly List Gun Control
8>8 Personal answerReform the no-fly list, and then yes. The no-fly list should only include people whom the government has a reasonable belief would do something violent or illegal. This condition has not always been met, because of misunderstandings of religions or other groups people are a part of. |
Domestic Policy › Supreme Court Reform
8>8 Personal answerNo, reforming the Supreme Court is unconstitutional and would upset the balance of power |
Domestic Policy › NSA Domestic Surveillance
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Gerrymandering
8>8 Personal answerYes, it should be automated by a computer according to set conditions, so that it is non-bias and best represents every person. |
Immigration › Illegal Immigrant Detainment
8>8 Personal answerYes, immigration laws should be enforced. I don't care much what the laws are, just that they are honored. And if they are breaking that law, it is virtually guaranteed that they are breaking other laws. |
Social › Women in Combat
8>8 Personal answerYes, as long as they can pass the same physical tests as men |
Domestic Policy › Social Media Regulation
8>8 Personal answerNo, then they'll get rid of mentions of religion. They shouldn't be allowed to determine what is fake or real news. Plus it would have prevented the Ranch Dressing Poptarts prank. |
Healthcare › Medicaid
8>8 Personal answerRegardless, everybody needs to know how to spend less money while still living well. |
Science › Mandatory Vaccinations
8>8 Personal answerNo, but use third party funding to raise awareness that vaccines aren't bad. |
Immigration › Border Security
8>8 Personal answerThey should increase restrictions to prevent the bad stuff from coming in or out, such as illegal drugs and criminals. But they should decrease restrictions for those in circumstances that make them NEED to come here, such as for life or death situations, be they insurmountable poverty or physical danger. |
Crime › Private Prisons
8>8 Personal answerNo, and prisons should be standardized and reformed according to available research on reforming prisoners. |
Social › Gender Workplace Diversity
8>8 Personal answerNo, board members should be the most qualified regardless of gender |
the Environment › Alternative Energy
8>8 Personal answerYes, the government should support more sustainable energy technologies |
Immigration › Sanctuary Cities
8>8 Personal answerNo, and we should ban the use of sanctuary cities |
Elections › Campaign Finance
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Immigration › Immigration Healthcare
8>8 Personal answerNecessary medical care is a right. But it is not a right for those who do not pay taxes to use tax money. Use charities instead. |
Healthcare › Single-Payer Healthcare
8>8 Personal answerHealth is a right, but people should be allowed to opt out. |
Foreign Policy › Israel Boycott
8>8 Personal answerNo, this is a violation of free speech |
Immigration › Immigrant Laborers
8>8 Personal answerNo. Immigration laws should be enforced. Illegal immigration should not be encouraged. |
the Environment › Alaska Wildlife Refuge
8>8 Personal answerNo. Drilling makes it hard for birds to hear and each other and their young. Saying yes to this would open the door to doing the safe with other places meant for "refuge." If they want to do it, then it should be in a location not officially called a refuge, and it should start when the birds have migrated away, so that they do not have young and then have the drilling start and not be able to communicate. If it is there before they get back, then they will find somewhere else to live and not be as likely to have that problem. |
Elections › Voter Fraud
8>8 Personal answerRegardless, voter fraud should be prevented as much as possible within practical means. Also automatically register every citizen to vote when they turn 18. |
the Economy › Corporate Tax
8>8 Personal answerLower it slowly until the government can manage costs enough to lower it to 10% |
Social › Safe Spaces
8>8 Personal answerNo, but students should be allowed to get alternative assignments for assignments that would otherwise require them to violate their religion. Providing a "safe place" would mean politics would not be discussed among those who need it most, thus leading to polarization, hate, and aggression in the country that will eventually lead us to war. |
Foreign Policy › Foreign Elections
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only to protect the country from human rights violations by a tyrannical ruler |
Domestic Policy › Patriot Act
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Government Spending
8>8 Personal answerYes, hire non-bias experts to analyze spending on EVERYTHING. They will help determine whether something helps more than hurts, how to do it as cheaply as possible while also being effective and just, what to cut, and alternative ways of raising money to try. Question every expense. Reduce it as much as practical. |
Elections › Minimum Voting Age
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Foreign Policy › Israel
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › NATO
8>8 Personal answerNo, not until other countries increase their financial contributions |
Domestic Policy › Net Neutrality
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Immigration › Immigrant Assimilation
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Immigration › Border Wall
8>8 Personal answerYes, this will help us prevent trafficking of illegal immigrants, sex slaves, other slaves, drugs, and criminals. It will help us enforce the law, which is a worthy endeavor. |
Social › First Amendment
8>8 Personal answerNo, we need Heavenly Father's and Jesus' support. |
Healthcare › Medicaid Work Requirement
8>8 Personal answerYes, unless they are not capable within reason. |
Domestic Policy › Gun Liability
8>8 Personal answerNo, manufacturers and dealers should only be held liable for negligence |
Crime › Defunding the Police
8>8 Personal answerPolice should still exist for violent crimes and crimes where people are likely to be willing to be violent, such as robbery. We should take all the steps we reasonably can to prevent people from becoming criminals, as well as preventing crime. We could prevent people from becoming criminals by strengthening the family, such as by making some forms of “discipline” illegal that have been proven by many, many quality studies to have negative long-term effects. We can also include a mandatory “Family” class in public compulsory education to teach the essentials of parenting for the best outcomes in children and for happy and successful marriages, which are the basis and foundation of good parenting. The education and welfare systems can also be improved. We can prevent crime from people who chose to be criminals anyways in many ways. One way is to make sure all law-abiding (background checked), trained, safe citizens can have a gun and ammo. Other jobs should be created to take care of non-violent crimes previously addressed by cops. Cops should also get anti-discrimination training. Research shows that this is possible. Cops should be trained in this until they show that enough or all bias has been trained out before interacting with people in those minorities. Complaints against cops should also be taken very seriously, and investigated as a high priority, and local stations should not be afraid to fire officers for gross negligence. Those who commit negligence but not gross negligence should be retrained in the thing they violated and be put on probation. It would also be helpful for cops to build relationships with the community, or at least know who everyone is, so that they are virtually 0% likely to shoot someone they think is violent, who actually called 911 for help. In fact, police should be trained on how to safely apprehend violent criminals without killing them if possible, to further prevent unnecessary killing. |
Social › Niqāb
8>8 Personal answerYes, it is a religious right. Plus, if they are being that clear that they are Muslim, they clearly aren't going to be a terrorist. Everyone will be watching them with that suspicion, so they wouldn't be able to get away with it. |
Crime › Solitary Confinement for Juveniles
8>8 Personal answerYes, and we should create more social programs to help prevent and rehabilitate criminals |
Social › Euthanasia
8>8 Personal answerNo, but they should be allowed to refuse artificial life support |
Immigration › Citizenship Test
8>8 Personal answerYes, but it should only cover very basic and simple topics |
Crime › Mandatory minimum prison sentences
8>8 Personal answerPrisons should be reformed to reform prisoners. Then yes. |
Immigration › Skilled Immigrants
8>8 Personal answerPeople highly skilled and expert in fields in which there is a deficit of workers should not have much trouble getting work visas. However, this needs to be balanced so that a certain percent of deficit is left to allow for rises in American interest and participation in the field without making it harder for Americans to get the jobs. |
Elections › Right of Foreigners to Vote
8>8 Personal answerNo, only legal citizens should be allowed to vote |
Healthcare › Safe Haven
8>8 Personal answerNo, but they should not be arrested if they are willing to be rehabilitated. |
Healthcare › Medicare Drug Prices
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Affirmative Action
8>8 Personal answerYes, as far as they make us equal, but no more than that. |
the Economy › Corporate Mega Mergers
8>8 Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Universal Basic Income
8>8 Personal answerNO!!! We must avoid communism literally like the plague, more than COVID! We need to keep making efforts to get rid of poverty, but we should not do THIS. People from communistic countries all will tell you how bad it was. It wasn't all equally good, it was all equally bad. People think the government will do it altruistically and not corruptly, but we have plenty of evidence that politicians are power-hungry and willing to blow up ethics to pursue it. |
Domestic Policy › Flag Burning
8>8 Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Welfare
8>8 Personal answerMore. We should raise the minimum wage to a beginner's living wage ($16/hour is what you would need to live in a motor home) and only provide welfare to those who are incapable of working. |
the Economy › Free Tax Filing
8>8 Personal answerYes, but they should partner with TurboTax. |
Foreign Policy › Soleimani
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Labor Unions
8>8 Personal answerHelp, except in cases where really bad workers can't be fired, such as in teacher tenure |
Elections › Campaign Finance
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Environment › Dakota Access Pipeline
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Welfare Drug Testing
8>8 Personal answerYes, and for mental illness, and should be offered affordable treatment for it. They should be required to save for it/ get treatment if the addiction or illness is what puts them over the edge into needing welfare. |
the Economy › Economic Stimulus
8>8 Personal answerYes, even those who were wise with their money are hurt in recessions. It is a country's job to protect its citizens, and protecting the non-lazy from poverty is one of those things. (To clarify, I do not think the majority of poor people are lazy. I am referring to the percent of people who go on welfare to do nothing when they could be doing something.) |
the Economy › Capital Gains Tax
8>8 Personal answerAfter reforming to have regular periodic evaluations of how efficiently moneyis being used in all spending areas, a tax not to exceed 10% could be imposed to make up for whatever other funding is needed to get out of the red. The tax should be raised slowly to prevent sudden market crashes. |
Immigration › In-State Tuition
8>8 Personal answerNo, illegal immigrants, when discovered, should be subject to humane enforcement of the laws. But if they gain legal status, then yes. |
Education › Common Core
8>8 Personal answerNo, schools should teach life skills and soft skills, not stuff that won't significantly enhance their life. School should be made according to cutting edge research on learning, and if they do that, then kids will love school, and more will be able to be done in less time, which means more time for family and developing their own unique skills and passions. |
Healthcare › World Health Organization
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Environment › Oil Drilling
8>8 Personal answerNo, and provide more incentives for alternative energy production |
Domestic Policy › Whistleblower Protection
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › United Nations
8>8 Personal answerYes, and use the U.N. peacekeeping forces to protect our interests |
Foreign Policy › Afghanistan
8>8 Personal answerYes, the war has been going on for so long that it sounds stupid now. We're not getting anywhere. |
Foreign Policy › Yemen
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Healthcare › Obamacare
8>8 Personal answerYes, I support a majority of the plan but not all aspects |
the Environment › Fracking
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Elections › Candidate Transparency
8>8 Personal answerNo, I would respect them more if they did but they shouldn’t be required to. Tax returns have almost nothing to do with their ability to perform their duties. Releasing tax returns would lead to people voting based on that instead of the person's actual potential as President. |
the Economy › Overtime Pay
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Elections › Lobbyists
8>8 Personal answerNo, they should be afforded equal rights to be involved citizens as everybody else. |
Domestic Policy › Eminent Domain
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only in extreme cases of national emergency |
Elections › Electoral College
8>8 Personal answerNo, the electoral college ensures representation of the whole country instead of just major cities |
Foreign Policy › Military Spending
8>8 Personal answerUse however much you need. But they should ensure extra efficient use of it and prioritize our needs over other countries' needs. |
the Environment › Animal Testing
8>8 Personal answerYes, but not for cosmetics |
Science › Nuclear Energy
8>8 Personal answerYes, safety precautions have been updated so heavily that nuclear power is one of the safest, cleanest, most efficient methods out there |
Foreign Policy › Torture
8>8 Personal answerNo, torture is inhumane, unethical, and violates the 8th amendment |
Crime › Drug Trafficking Penalties
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Elections › Criminal Politicians
8>8 Personal answerYes, as long as it was not a felony, violent, financial, or sexual crime, because they show a lack of care for others and/or prioritization of money or power over doing good. |
Foreign Policy › Foreign Aid
8>8 Personal answerDecrease as much as needed to prioritize our own needs. We don't want to be so stretched thin that we are easy pickings. |
Foreign Policy › North Korea Military Strikes
8>8 Personal answerNo, we must use every diplomatic option first |
Foreign Policy › ISIS Ground Troops
8>8 Personal answerNo, conduct targeted airstrikes instead |
Healthcare › VA Privatization
8>8 Personal answerMore |
Foreign Policy › Drones
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only kill terrorists if they are proven terrorists, not just suspected terrorists. |
Science › GMO Labels
8>8 Personal answerYes, and they should add to the GMO label that no ill effects have been found. There is no evidence that it is bad, but people should be able to choose not to eat something where there is no evidence that it is not bad, either. |
Crime › Prison Overcrowding
8>8 Personal answerYes, and all laws to punish people for stuff that doesn't directly or indirectly harm others should be done away. |
Education › Universal Pre-K
8>8 Personal answerNot necessarily, but the more kids can go to preschool, the better. If we can do it without going even further into debt, we should do it that way. For example, we can crowdfund and crowdsource it, such as by having volunteers teach in their own house and donators of money and supplies provide the supplies. |
Transportation › Public Transportation
8>8 Personal answerNo, and we should privatize more public transportation services |
Education › Charter Schools
8>8 Personal answerI believe that both private and public schools should be improved, and parents should have the freedom to choose where they’d like to send their children. |
Domestic Policy › Social Security
8>8 Personal answerNo, abolish social security. Social security is a pyramid scheme that is coming to dire straits because there are fewer young people than old people, which means a small amount of people must pay for a big amount of people. Give it to those who are reliant on it and who will need it to retire on time or who have a condition that made them retire early. |
the Economy › Estate Tax
8>8 Personal answerJust reform to a flat tax and forget all the sales tax, estate taxes, property taxes, etc. |
Immigration › Dual Citizenship
8>8 Personal answerAllow dual citizenship from allied countries |
Crime › Criminal Voting Rights
8>8 Personal answerYes, except for felons convicted of murder or violent crimes |
the Environment › Plastic Product Ban
8>8 Personal answerNo, but increase tax incentives for companies that make biodegradable products |
Foreign Policy › Terrorism
8>8 Personal answerNo, they should be tried in military tribunals but not subject to torture |
National Security › Military Congressional Approval
8>8 Personal answerYes, congress votes with an agenda to please citizens in their political party, and citizens don't usually know what is going on and what the best action would be to take. The decision should not be left to people-pleasers of ignorant people. Also, I prefer to stay ignorant. However, it should be approved by a general or whoever is an expert in what's going on there and what can be done. They should try getting the gospel to those areas. Conversion to Christianity has stopped groups of savage criminals before in history, multiple times. |
the Environment › Paris Climate Agreement
8>8 Personal answerYes, until there is equality (but not necessarily equity.) |
the Economy › Tech Monopolies
8>8 Personal answerNo |
National Security › Foreign Assassination
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only if there is sufficient evidence they are planning to attack our country |
Foreign Policy › War on ISIS
8>8 Personal answerNo, we do not want to amplify their attacks on us. But we should prioritize our own safety before destroying them. |
Domestic Policy › College Sports and COVID
8>8 Personal answerYes, but let each college and athlete decide |
Foreign Policy › NATO
8>8 Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Domestic Jobs
8>8 Personal answerNo, we aren't entitled to that, and we don't want to encourage it. |
the Economy › China Tariffs
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Science › Space Exploration
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › Ukraine
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › NAFTA
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Political Advertising on Social Media
8>8 Personal answerNo, but they should take steps to decrease political polarization, which will otherwise definitely lead to war. In fact, unfortunately, with the riots in some places, physical battles have already begun. They just look different than the battles we imagine from movies. They are just as dangerous. |
the Economy › Offshore Banking
8>8 Personal answerYes, as long as they pay all the taxes legally required to the US |
Foreign Policy › India Arms
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Edward Snowden
8>8 Personal answerYes, he should be protected under the Whistleblower Protection Act |
the Economy › Federal Reserve
8>8 Personal answerNo. That would be a baby step toward giving Congress control of it. Baby steps always precede big changes. It would also politicize the national reserve, since politicians fight for whatever gets them votes. |
Foreign Policy › NSA Surveillance
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Farm Subsidies
8>8 Personal answerNo, farmers shouldn't be paid to do nothing, and farmers shouldn't be paid just because they don't know how to run their business. The government could ask local groups such as colleges to inform locals of the free resources for learning farming and making a profit off of it. |
Foreign Policy › Cuba
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › Russian Airstrikes in Syria
8>8 Personal answerNo, we should let the Russians take out ISIS |
Foreign Policy › Hong Kong Fugitive Extradition
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only for breaking laws that hurt people. |
the Economy › Tariffs
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Property Taxes
8>8 Personal answerNo, this taxes the poor disproportionately more than those who can afford to pay the tax. |
Foreign Policy › Jerusalem
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Education › School Truancy
8>8 Personal answerYes, unschooling (a form of homeschooling without a curriculum) is legal, so why is it not legal for kids to choose not to go to school when they are enrolled? |
the Economy › Pension Reform
8>8 Personal answerYes. This way they can invest it. |
the Economy › Government Pensions
8>8 Personal answerYes, adjust them yearly for cost of living, but encourage them and provide resources to learn how to invest in good stock when young to save for retirement themselves. |
the Environment › Corporate Subsidies
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › State Ownership
8>8 Personal answerYes, but the government should never be one of the top few stakeholders, nor should they ever have more than 49% of a company. |
the Economy › Bitcoin
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Trans-Pacific Partnership
8>8 Personal answerYes, it will bring economic growth to all countries involved |
Foreign Policy › F-35
8>8 Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Online Sales Tax
8>8 Personal answerYes |
